Trumka is an idiot. I'm a retired AFL-CIO guy and I can say in a very unbiased way that this guy is totally evil. A lot of the rank and file union guys think he's a wack job.

How so? Everything I read about him impresses me. He has been a forceful leader looking out for the rights of labors, inside the US and abroad. I think he is just positioning the union for the inevitable time when illegal workers are afforded amnesty. He wants to be on their side when they become legal so they can join the union. I say he's a smart man.

This union leader is hypocritical and not serving the best interest of current union members legally in the US. Where will he find LEGAL work for those 11 million "new citizens". He just wants 11 million soldiers for dues and protests. The dues part will be tough without a job.

Dues will be paid by the government. We are entitled to this.

He's investing a lot of members money to push for the legalization of illegal aliens which will only decrease their members job opportunities. Many of the illegal aliens that have union books work for cash or under scale. The union turns a blind eye to that because shop stewards are paid off and the union is still getting its dues. The union manipulates illegal aliens just like scab employers do. The rank and file workers know this and most are bitter. That's how so.

Never said I wanted to be a citizen. I'm merely traveling through the historical lands of my ancestors. It is a basic human right that I'm entitled to.

The historical lands of your ancestors, the Aztecs, Mayans etc. were south of our border. They didn't occupy or settle in the U.S. So you're looking in the wrong country. Try Mexico. Here's a map for you so you can find your historical lands, lol.

The stated position of the AFL-CIO is that immigration reform will severely reduce, or eradicate, under-the-table or underscale payments because part of the reform will enable undocumented workers to seek legal action for those types of activities. The cessation of these types of arrangements will do nothing except raise the level of pay given to union members.

My ancestors were Apache Indians that roamed from present day Phoenix to Hermosillo Mx. Present day US and MX border laws are meaningless to us, we roam at will.

An Apache born on our side of the border is an American. An Apache born in Mexico is a Mexican citizen. You're "opinion" of meaningless borders means nothing. You roam at your own risk in violation of our immigration laws. Get out! Your homeland is in Mexico. I suppose if someone is of German ancestry but born here, in your clueless world they have the right to roam Germany without permission aka a Visa? What a stupid a** you are!

Good thing those in your government aren't as dumb as you. From Wikipedia, border crossings: San Miguel Gate.

"This crossing, also known also as "the Gate" has never been a legal border crossing for most people. Nomadic Native Americans are permitted use this gate to traverse their land on both sides of the border."

Thanks for playing, tho. Vanna has a conciliation prize for you.

"limited legal status" is a non starter.

"The last major overhaul of border laws was in 1986."

What border laws? There are no laws without enforcement.

It's our basic American right to boot your butt back over the fence.
