May 22, 2013 Full story: The Guardian 28

Any other venture that had as many failures would be closed down completely. Chicago Public School System is little more then a baby sitting service. It keeps the gangbangers off the street until afternoon so the old women can go to the grocery store. Half of them cannot read, but the teachers are highly paid no matter how incompetent they are at their jobs. Have you ever heard the President of the Chicago Teachers Union speak? She can barely form a sentence in English.

A little history!

"In the 1990s, billionaire Walter Annenberg, former ambassador to the United Kingdom under President Richard Nixon, was the United States' most generous living philanthropist. By 1998, Annenberg had given away more than $2 billion..."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_Annenber...

"The Chicago Annenberg Challenge was one of 18 locally designed Annenberg Challenge project sites that received $387 million over five years as part of Walter Annenberg's gift of $500 million over five years to support public school reform."

"The three co-authors of Chicago's winning Annenberg Challenge $49.2 million grant proposal were: WILLIAM AYERS, Anne Hallett and Warren Chapman..."

"BARACK OBAMA , elected by the Board of Directors as founding chairman and president of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (1995–1999)"

"An August 2003 final technical report of the Chicago Annenberg Research Project by the Consortium on Chicago School Research said that ... results suggest that among the schools it supported, the Challenge had little impact on school improvement and student outcomes, with no statistically significant differences between Annenberg and non-Annenberg schools in rates of achievement gain, classroom behavior, student self-efficacy, and social competence."
==========
The Annenberg Challenge required that the money he gave to the public school system require matching funds from both the public and private sphere.

So the Challenge received 3 X 49.2 Million or approximately 150 Million in grant money.

The result?? Nothing, Zero, Zilch, Nada----of course the money was spent.

Obama had 4 years to change the country for the better.

Seriously, can anyone name one good thing this guy's done for America?

I need not explain how he and his corrupt guttertrash Chicago mafia handlers have made everything worse. Simply look around with your own lying eyes for proof.

In some aspects Obama is right when he says ((("you didn't build/create that, government did.")))

Let's look at what this administration has created in 4 short years and imagine what he can do with 8:

-Socialist eugenics based health care (((Obamacare)))

-NDAA (((National Defense Authorization Act))) where Americans can be disappeared without a jury

-Out of control (((Crony Capitalism)))-government picks winners and losers based on payouts -not free market eg. Solyndra, GM, GE, MF Global, Numerous Bank Bailouts, Cancelling Keystone Pipleline, No Prosecution of criminal Banksters

-(((Skyrocketing Unemployment and Outsourcing)))-The idea that welfare checks/EBT cards are paychecks

-(((Fast and Furious))) and other suspected domestic false flags like Aurora CO to argue for abolishing the 2nd ammendmant

-Massive (((TSA expansion))) onto America's streets and armed (((survellance drones/now blimps))) operating over US territory.

-(((UN control of U.S. military troops to invade))) Egypt, Syria, parts of Africa, etc. for offshore bankers aka Nazism

-(((Trickle Down Government))) The idea that nothing can be built without (((more government bureaucrats and global warming regulations/taxes))) getting in the way

-(((Throwing Israel -an important ally- under the bus))) by destabalizing all the county's around it but not offering them any assurances of protection

-A(((continuation of Bush's failed policies))), like not getting out of Iraq, Afghanastan, and no closing of Guantanamo torture camps

-(((Polaraized race relations))) eg. Disrespectful hadling of the Treyvon Martin family after his murder -opportunistic my son would have looked like Treyvon soundbite- and media staged racial infighting between Americans

-(((No Proof Obama supposedly got Osama)))) America was never really allowed to see the body/proof ; -)

-(((Defunding of NASA))) No exploration of the stars for the U.S., leave that to countries that are exceptional

-(((No Plan/ or Budget to Fix Anything if he is re-elected )))-always says what you want to hear, then does the exact opposite hoping you''ll forget by the next speech -(((Sociopathic Liar)))

-(((Obamaphone)))-Massive expansion of this program for his dependant voting base

-(((Unlimited QE3 leading to hyperinflation/ monopoly money))) Dollar is rapidly losing purchasing power resulting in skyrocketing food and GAS PRICES (especially for "green gas" in CA)

-(((Needed a tainted Creepy Crawley moderator to hold his hand during the 2nd debate))) weak affirmative action President

- My favorite (((Legalizing the illegals))) temporarily until the election is over but not offering true immigration reform

Obama's 2nd Term

(((BenghaziGate))) Obama lied, our troops died -bigger than Watergate, this is outright treason -funny how Obama threw Clinton under the bus

(((IRS Gate))) Uses IRS storm troopers to go after political enemies by targeting foes for audits and leaking their classified tax information -both felonies

(((Mediagate and Boston CIA Gate))) Now trying to chill journalists by tapping their phone conversations when his Admin doesn't like what is being reported on -even spying on Associated Pres and other old liberal allies

(((Holdergate))) Is Holder is supposed to supervise all these hearings? He should be in jail over Oklahoma city, Fast and Furious, and Wall Street corruption. Rules without enforcement don't mean squat.

As Reagan would have said; There you go again... What the hell does it take to get impeached or is Obama now a bonafide dictator?

Too bad Ron Paul chickened out in 2012.

Obviously another direct result of not paying the teachers near enough money. A 40% raise would go a long way towards making this work.

Typical response OR non-response to Barack being an empty suit, put in place by powerful handlers for their own advancment.

A BILDERBERG Stooge, whose only defense is look what this other BILDERBERG Sooge did in Iraq.

The fact is, the ONLY Difference between Obama and Rahm Emanuel is that Barack has a printing press to mask his faulures and Rahm does not.

I wonder if we are STILL Giving money to Iraq, as they had an ACTUAL Surplus in their budget.

Here is a Government Accounting Office report on the cost of the Iraq War.

http://www.gao.gov/products/GAO-10-304

"Since 2003, the United States has reported obligating $642 billion for U.S. military operations in Iraq and provided about $24 billion for training, equipment, and other services for Iraqi security forces."

Well, the report was from GAO-10-304, Sep 13, 2010, and the War was still winding down, but we can safely say that the War cost a TRILLION.

Same source: available surplus funds FOR IRAQ ...$11.8 billion
==========
Well, here it is---over 5 years into his terms as President, and Obama is still giving money to Iraq, despite that country having a SURPLUS.

http://thecurrencynewshound.com/2013/04/12/un...

"United States of America announced reduction of aid to Iraq in its budget next year 2014 to about 10% for the current year budget 2013."

"The largest reduction in economic aid was long Iraq, where the U.S. administration intends to reduce the level of $ 22.5 million from 262 million last year.

OK--- I have to post this as this thread is about a money shortage. Same source as above.

http://thecurrencynewshound.com/2013/04/12/un...

"... U.S. State Department on its website details of the draft budget law next year 2014 sent by U.S. President Barack Obama to Congress in a document beyond the fifty pages, and carrying notch external budget significant implications in terms of priority and INCREASE aid to countries “Arab spring” for the stability of such assistance granted by Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt and the Palestinian Authority,..."

Great work Barack; more money for the Muslim Countries that hate the United States. More money for them, but US schools are closing.

America's worst President ever??? He is in the running.

FAILING STUDENTS = PARENTS WHO DO NOT VALUE EDUCATION

The answer to our educational problem is not more money, but focusing early on the parents of students who are struggling. Their parents do not value education.

Early intervention with parents is the key.

B.S paying teachers more wouldn't have changed a thing. If the parents can't control their children and the teachers hands are tied when it comes to controlling the kids nothing would change.
I blame the parents 90% of the time. Kids who don't have the discipline at home won't have it at school.

Close the schools or privatize them and give the tools to the teachers to maintain contol of the classroom.

All that money just for ONE school district??

The government would not give just ONE school district all the money it had spent on the Iraq war.

Maybe some of that money should go to YOUR SCHOOL DISTRICT? Seems it lacks in the ability to teach simple logic.

If you asked Chicago teachers; would you rather have a 40% raise or some tools to control the classroom? How many do you think would pick tools? Just asking.
