You won't need a photo identification card when you vote on Nov. 6, but that doesn't mean you won't be asked to show one when you appear at your polling place.

I just told the clerk in Giant Eagle that I no longer need to show ID to pay with a check. She called that manager. He said that he can't allow me to pay with a check because I didn't show ID. Said I need Giant Eagle card or a Photo ID to use a check. I had to pay for my groceries with cash.(Lucky I had it) Isn't this wrong? I thought ID was no longer necessary? Was I discriminated against? Is this racial? Can the ACLU help? Any advice?
