Deeds Memo Damning In Hindsight

There are 58 comments on the www.politico.com story from Nov 7, 2009, titled Deeds Memo Damning In Hindsight . In it, www.politico.com reports that:

Back in June, pollster David Petts was the man with the answers. His candidate, Virginia Democrat Creigh Deeds, had just won a thumping, come-from-behind primary victory to win his party's nomination for governor.

The advice: Go negative on the Republican nominee, capitalize on his natural advantage with independents, and be wary of two fellow Democrats—incumbentGov. Tim Kaine and President Barack Obama.

The Democrat’s 17-point loss to Republican Bob McDonnell was the worst blow-out in a gubernatorial election in nearly a half-century.

Just so we're clear, is that the same war begun in '03 that nearly every Democrat in Congress voted to approve? The war that was intended to remove Saddam from power so he wouldn't be able to use the WMDs that Bill Clinton, Algore, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Sec. of State Albright, and many other Dems had warned us of? The war that a vast majority of citizens favored? That war?

And...be sure to keep count of the number of people dying in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan (and maybe Ft. Hood) during Obama's watch..the total is mounting.

I guess only George Bush and his administration will have to answer to GOD for the million plus who died from his war built from lies. Sure, in the aftermath of 9/11, the country wanted accountability.Bush said they were a imminent threat, that they knew where they were, it was a "shoe in"according to Geo. Tenent, head of the CIA about Iraqi nuclear/biologicical program.
Lies lies lies!!!! Obama has a long way to go to catch up to Bush's legacy of close to 4000 dying on 9/11, and the million plus that died as a result of the aftermath of his foolish invasion of Iraq. Bush will not have Ari Fleicher , scott McClulland or the blonde bimbo with the herpes to bs their way out of why Bush did what he did. Do they accually think God rewards you for exterminating over a million people?

Your previous posts have shown you have difficulty doing this, but try to stay on topic. My point is that nearly all Dems voted in favor of the invasion of Iraq. Most all citizens supported it. Bush was using the same intel that the Clinton administration had that led most all of them to agree that Saddam had, and would use, WMDs.

And again, I'll ask....do you think Obama will be held accountable for the deaths of Americans on his watch, or is that a questionairre only Republicans get? Your posts would indicate you're a complete hypocrite...I'm trying to give you an out to show you aren't.

2010, I can't wait to vote out the radical. Tort reform is what we need for better healthcare. When a doctor has to pay 200,000 a year for malpractice insurance, guess who gets the bill? Think about this, everyday a person takes a pill authorized and approved by the FDA (government), then they get a pimple on their forehead and receive 10 million in damages from our screwed up court system because the pill was supposed to lower their blood pressure and not grow a pimple. Guess who gets this bill the next time they purchase their blood pressure medicine???

Oh, who is Obama killing? Grandma if the health care overhaul goes through? Or solders in Iraq or Afgahnistan? Last I heard Obama didnt start those wars. So those deathes and crippling of American solders and the muslems our solders killed are still on Bush. As soon as Obama starts a war built from lies and the mayham starts, you can put those on Obama.

Obama may not have started those wars, but they were on going when he ran for POTUS and he knew they would become his. Lies? Was Clinton also lying and all the Dems who voted to go to war lying? Was every intelligence agency around the world lying?

I'm sick of listening to this libcrap from screaming lefties like you. Can't you go to MediaMatters of Huffington and get some updated BS to scream about?

He could win, if he'd get it right.

But, you're dodging again...I was asking if Obama was in any way responsible for the soldiers who are dying on his watch. Remember, he was going to have all the troops out of Iraq by now. And, he was going to have a large troop buildup in Afghanistan because that is, in his words, "the right war". And now the "right war" has spilled over into Pakistan. Obama is the Commander in Chief, it's his call. If troops are still dying in Iraq and Afghanistan and Pakistan, it's because he is commanding they be there.
So, back to the subject you introduced...is God going to hold him accountable for their deaths as you say He is going to hold Dubya accountable?

Bush. All the way. A quick pullout would have been disaterous for the troops and extremeist from other arab nations would have filled the vacuum. Another no win for Obama.

Perhaps he should have thought of that during the campaign, and not promised his lefties stuff he couldn't come thru on. So many unfulfilled pledges makes him look like he doesn't know what he's doing. And you wouldn't want people thinking that of him, would you?

This is the f-ed up system you clowns want to preserve. Idiots like you are just polluting the debate with the outragious lies and distortions, and in the end, we are going to get such a watered down bill that it will never fulfill the original objective of what health care reform was supposed to be. You f-ing morons are just shooting yourselves and all others in the foot by defending the obsene profits by the insurance company. They are the ones who are standing in between you and health care.
Well, that was the mild version of what 8th man deserves.

get a grip, your starting to babble. You show a lot of ignorance and lack of maturity. How many died in Bosnia under Clinton, how many died in Viet Nam under Kennedy and Loser Johnson, how many died under Charter. Over 4000 people died the first day on D-Day and you whine about the same over a 5 year war. I say that's pretty good. Liberal swine like you only whine and protest about war that your too scared to fight for freedom but you and the ACLU are the first to jump and demand it. You make a maggot vomit.

Major Polls Agree on What Americans Are Feeling.

According to a Gallup poll released Wednesday, 48 percent of voters said they would back a Republican, while 44 percent said they would support a Democrat, if the 2010 House elections were held today.

RASMUSSEN POLL: OBAMA AT 46% APPROVAL...wow, what would it be without his teleprompter.
