WRONG... Had there been one gun there the criminal with the knife would have been stopped before stabbing 14+ people.
btw I am not a "cowboy" as you refer to those with an opinion that differs from you, but I did have a pony when I was a kid

Did you watch Roy Rodgers? I did, became a gun cowboy, then grew up.

The best gun control is having windage and elevation set properly to strike dead center of your target.

Had any of the victims had a gun they could have saved themselves and others terrible injury. It is immoral to establish "gun free" zones and not provide for the defense of citizens.
Even mental defectives know that you never bring a knife to a gun fight.

Dear Senator Kaine,

What weapon would be "too frightening", how many rounds would be "excessive", and what would be a "common sense approach" if it was your precious little Annella being raped?

I truely wish you and the libtards would have a nice big self-administered dose of lead to the temple and leave those of us who embrace freedom to live happy lives.

They'll start with something that seems logical to those who do not own guns (guns with "excessive" rounds), then they'll keep adding to the list until only police officers and criminals own guns.

Oh but if the rights of demonstrators (Occupiers) were at all threatened, the ACLU and all liberals would be the first to cry out.

They are chipping away at our freedoms -- under the guise of protecting us -- and people are too enamored with their liberal government to recognize it.

Your almost there, but guns aren't the issue, they let us have them cause they don't care. Our rights have already been trashed, bigtime. Between the Patriot Act and the Supreme Court we're just a means to support war and corperate proffits, thats it. Why they don't even need us to support a war, they just go ahead and do it, why ask us, just blow up a couple of buildings and we'll say killem all. This nation has become a land of suckers.

Not more guns, just the proper use of said guns. Don't worry SY we'll still save you.

History was not you best subject
Heres a history of what happens after governments have disarmed their citizens:
1911 Turkey disarmed its citizens, and between 1915 1917 they murdered 1.5 million Armenians.
1929 Russia disarmed its citizens, and between 1929 1953 they murdered 20 million Russians.
1935 China disarmed its citizens, and between 1948 1952 they murdered 20 million Chinese.
1938 Germany disarmed its citizens, and between 1939 1945 they murdered 16 million Jews.
1956 Cambodia disarmed its citizens, and between 1975 1977 they murdered 1 million Educated people.
1964 Guatamala disarmed its citizens, and between 1964 1981 they murdered 100,000 Mayan Indians.
1970 Uganda disarmed its citizens, and between 1971 1979 they murdered 300,000 Christians.
Ha ha, ooooh, they're coming to get me! The gv't is THREATENING to DISARM ME!!!
You really think those countries 'disarmed' all their citizens?
You think your being armed will make a lick of difference when the national guard, homeland security, army, navy, air force, marines, cia, fbi.. and so on, step onto your property? Better warm up your patriot missiles.

So we should just sit back and let gun control happen?

For now, I just want to be able to protect myself and my home against "personal" threats -- not the government. If it gets that bad and the government steps onto my property to gain control, I hope I am already deceased. If not, I guarantee there will be nothing left to take.

Who says everybody in the Military, D.H.S., etc will march lockstep with the administration? All the troops, gov'ies and feds I know took an oath to uphold & defend the Constitution, not one administration or another.

News flash, there is no Constitution, Congress repealed it several years ago. Your living in a dream. Our republic was sold to the highest bidder. We don't live in a democracy, never have.

Huck, they've already done it during post-Kartina New Orleans.

They've started doing it right now in New York State.

Have fun watching your loved ones get robbed, raped, etc, while you wait powerless for the police to show up.
