Anyone convicted of murder should get either life, or death.

Branstad sure didn't have any problem getting his murderous son off with a traffic ticket when he killed that couple.

The sympathizers with actual vicious murderers should be put in prison with the scum they admire.

Yep...Eric Branstad was a known drunk whose shenanigans killed an elderly couple in the 90's, and Daddy got him off with a $15 traffic ticket! Eric continued to get drunk and commit crimes for years afterwards, until Terry shipped him out-of-state to a military school to spare himself the embarrassment.

When you know the truth, Branstad's desire for killers to be punished rings a tad bit hollow.

The funniest part is...Eric Branstad wasn't even allowed to drive when that accident happened. And the vehicle being used was owned by Branstad's gubernatorial campaign.

But let's not let facts get in the way of Republicrat grandstanding, right?

Branstad is almost as much an egotist as Sheriff Arpaio of Arizona. Both spend too much time trying to figure out how to negate the decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Think of it this way - if a child, aged 10, commits murder, he/she would be 70 years old before they are even ELIGIBLE for parole. Obviously this "system" doesn't work. I can't believe a person can't be rehabilitated (in something less than 60 years) instead of just punished.
