They should be confronted with a firing squad! Instead Napolitano has our BP Agents firing bean bags! Unfricking believable!

U.S. job demand fuels human smuggling?
With a 9.6%+ UNEMPLOYMENT rate, you got to be joking or lying?

That's why continuing to secure the border without addressing the demand for labor that drives illegal immigration won't solve the problem. It will merely lead to more savvy and vicious smugglers.
Illegals can be kept from coming if they knew it was highly unlikely that they would be able to find work and even if they did their any assets would be confiscated since they had no legal means to earn money.
They illegal employers should also have their assets confiscated for to pay for the arrest, prison and deportation.

Human smuggling is why we have 9.6% unemployment. The black-market labor pool drives wages to unlivable levels and puts decent Americans out of work.

I agree. Until the feds go after those hiring illegals with much stiffer penaltys it will not get any better. Drive out illegals, drive up wages ,use import tariffs to even the playing field against china . Then America can begin to have a middle class revival . With out it. You will see more and more unemployment exstentions. Taxes rise to fund schools with massive amounts of poverty children.Crime will go thru the roof. The jails ,cops, and all other law enforcement will be overwhelmed. What are they going to do when 9 million citizens and their familys lose thier homes in the next two years? These use to be middle class familys ,not welfare queens and kings. They own guns ,and alot of them. They take to the streets it won't be a little greek fest with rocks . The gov is going to spend the money one way or another. Either unemployment benifits, or they can offer those on exstended benifits a little more and do what they did with the TVA. Let them come work fixing the infrastructure, building a real border fence, more water collection sites and treatment plants. The sheer number of skilled construction workers sitting collecting a check is amazing. Give these Americans a fair chance and watch what they can do. Allow them to earn a living wage and take care of their familys and watch how loyal they will become. But.. Keep playing games, and they will buck.

If current laws were enforced and funded the number of illegals would decrease instead of steadily increasing.
1986 we were suppose to have work place verification but Obama sues Arizona and we still don't have The Save Act-e-verify.
1996 the government was suppose to track visas- sure they came to the U.S. to go to Disney Land- 40% of illegals are visa over stays- we still don't know if and when anyone leaves.
Finish the fence.
Border agents should be able to assume anyone coming illegally is armed and dangerous. Our agents should not have to be shot, stoned or beaten before defending themselves.
Stop giving illegals deportation waivers.
Schools, social service agencies, hospitals and jails should all have to verify legal status and report those who can not prove they are here legally.
Make being in the country illegally a felony.
Penalize illegal employers and illegals to the point it is not worth risking.
Any money acquired by the employers or illegals should be confiscated- just like they do with drugs- the money was acquired by illegal activity so take all of it.
We could drastically reduce the number of illegals if the government wanted to.
