Governor signs Rep. Burke Day's bill to ban 'novelty IDs'
Gov. Sonny Perdue has signed into law a bill sponsored by Rep. Burke Day, R-Tybee Island, to ban so-called "novelty IDs." Existing state law permits phony IDs as long as they are branded with the word "novelty."
