ALBANY, Ga. -- The age-old tension between rural Georgia and its sprawling metropolis may only intensify because of a federal ruling that could keep essential reservoir water from trickling into Atlanta.

I am so sick of us having to give up our water from Lake Lanier to provide water to other counties and states. They have lakes drain them. We make larege investments into houseboats businesses on the lake here and it is hurting small business owners and our rural counties economies!!!
