Only few texting violations written
Few citations have been issued since Gov. Sonny Perdue signed into law Senate Bill 360, which bans texting while driving.

Isn't this law just like the proposed law about Pitbulls? Law enforcement can't tell who's texting or if it's a Pit-mix. Any cell phone use while driving has the potential to be dangerous just as any dog can be dangerous. There are existing laws on the books about not being distracted while driving, crossing the center lane, controlling your vehicle, having your pet under control, having your pet on a leash, owning a dangerous animal...but these laws are ignored by law enforcement and the public so we make new laws to ignore. But I guess at the end of the day, hopefully we'll all just feel better.
