I can go off on a tangent how peoples eminent domain is violated by comps like Walmart etc., when the spirit of eminent domain was for hospitals, roads , fire stations etc. Many times it is about payouts and pork barreling and its sad.I believe seatbelt laws are unconstitional. I know they save lives but it should not merit a fine if you do not wear one. Obviously insurance comps pay off govt to pass these laws. Another one that comes to mind is that you lose your license if you drive off without paying for gas. Why should oil comps get special punishments divied while if you shoplift from your local dollar store , you simply would get a fine? I know shoplifting is wrong, but petite larceny does not merit losing your license. I still believe that most comps should be allowed to research you via your ss#... As I have stated.

What is "petite" larceny? Is that like a level below petty larceny? Or is it larceny committed by little women?

I always support the preseident in office hopeing that he or she (one-day) will really help make the country better. I think Sarah palin will write many books and make lots of money. She will be paid a lot of money to do radio shows and maybe a talk show. President of the USA she is not ready but if she works at it maybe she will be ready for 2012. I just know she was not ready this past election. All bias aside. She was not ready.

I personally don't think the republicans will nominate her. They would be too scared to take a chance that she wouldn't win against Obama.

What is apparent is she doesn't understand why she lost. The GOP is in a fix. Should be an interesting primary.

Obama my not have been elected had Palin not been chosen.
If he had chosen Ron Paul regardless of party affiliations etc many would have moved heaven and earth to get them elected.

Should be an interesting primary. We're talking president. I suppose even with VP, she'd have to be ready for being President should the need arise. The way she was treated by the media and others is/was completely unfair. When, in history, has the media and others continued to bash a political candidate long after the election - especially attacking their family? I've considered that McCain just might have decided he didn't want the job after all. I thought he ran a lousy campaign, but maybe that was on purpose. With the millions Sarah is going to make on her book, I wouldn't expect her to do much else in politics. She's going to have a career in politics, but not the one some are worried about. The republicans aren't going to nominate Sarah for a presidential election. There's nothing that says she has to keep her mouth shut about things either - and I'm sure she won't.

We would be better off with McCain, but not all that much better. He was the loser in that election. I think Palin had a better chance last time than she would have next time. Ron Paul is getting too old to be a strong candidate. He is by far the best choice though. He has a son who is running for senator from Kentucky. Rand Paul may be our next best option. Yes, if she only had a heart, a spine and a brain....she'd be PURRRRRRRfect as VP. Guess she'll just have to settle for being Todd's unemployed wife a mother of 3 small children, and a whiny complainy republicunt.

Your post here reveals a disgusting and low character. I can't imagine that either party or any viewpoint would want you on their side. x0x0x wrote: <quoted text>Yes, if she only had a heart, a spine and a brain....she'd be PURRRRRRRfect as VP. The republicans aren't going to nominate Sarah for a presidential election. There's nothing that says she has to keep her mouth shut about things either - and I'm sure she won't. The VP's main job is to be able to step in at a moment's notice, so, yes, it is about the presidency. She thinks she can help the GOP when all I see possible is her hurting them. A considerable amount of the power in the GOP understands that the viewpoint she connects with is a political dinosaur. There is a tipping point in that too. At some point in time, what is lost by the GOP becomes greater than what is gained by catering to dinosaurs. So there is going to be a third party that benefits from a surge of GOP defectors but to regain power the GOP will have to cater to conservatives who are moderate, secular and intellectual -- everything the Palin crowd is not. The only question is when, not if. I agree with you that McCain knew the likelihood of winning was remote. Palin was his desperate choice. Only she still doesn't get that, which is a condition of her shallow intellect, not her gender. I think all women have a tougher time in politics. Palin didn't get any more of the objectionable stuff than any other woman. But I have yet to see a woman ask for it like Palin does either. One can't declare they aren't quitting while quitting and not get mocked. Ask Nixon why.

It's not nepotism if we vote them in. Ron Paul's age provides the necessity for a back up Ron... I'm tired of politics. It's time for solutions. A Paul/Paul ticket would finally give us those long awaited solutions. Informed Voter wrote: <quoted text>No offense but a marginally placed candidate now with nepotism?
