Because people have turned their back on American principles and just vote based on party loyalty(something that George Washington warned us could happen).
Can't fully agree with that...seem's many people are well aware of many of the issues of the day....i do agree that, as media and party leadership has become more and more partisan, serving their party interests more than the countrys....many supporters have followed....
<quoted text> nope just read the link and see the only way obama got into office it explains all his supporters.
Nice editing of the Urban Dictionary, by the way did you see that Romney got credit for telling the biggest lie of the year?
Maybe that's one of the reasons, not your imaginary wish as to why Obama was re-elected. There were many different kind of Obama supporters, most support him because we believe people should have the freedom to make decisions for themselves and corporations need to have influence on our lives.
A Gallup poll done before the election showed how people describe themselves politically: Republican - 27% Independent - 35% Democrat - 36% Obviously, it took quite a few Independents to re-elect Obama. I'm one of those. I certainly do not consider Obama infallible and don't agree with everything he does. But he was, beyond any reasonable doubt, the better of the two choices in both 2008 and 2012. If Republicans nominate a good leader in the future, I will certainly consider voting for that candidate.
I would consider voting for a Republican, but that Republican would have no resemblance to current day republicans. Today's republican is a regressive in a progressive world.

Dang! Are you telling me Romney told a bigger lie than even, say, Sarah Palin or Rick Perry? I'm shocked. I need to look that up to see what could be THAT bad.
<quoted text> No need to look further, here you go, it was his Romney's Jeep ad claiming Obama sold them to Italy and they would be built in China. http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2012/1... And much like Trump:http://www.youtube.com/w atch?v=3ACCHxF4AfcXX
Thanks. Even as cynical as I have become, I still underestimate the depravity of power-mad politicians.
There is no lie so ludicrous that insecure, jealous, bigoted ignoramouses will not choose to believe it.
<quoted text>America has been "done" ever since the citizens allowed america to be taken over by jews, israel, jewish lobbies, banks, corporations, war profiteers etc.In the constitution is says WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES it does not say jews, israel, jewish lobbies, banks etc.Until the power is restored to the citizens of america these wars for israel will never end and america will never be any better. Most americans have been living in an economic depression for the last 12 years.Americans must learn that there is no democrat or republican as they are both controlled by the exact same people and it is NOT the average american citizen.
Halleluah, Praise the lord, there is one person in america with a brain.
