Perry thinks himself a masterful public servant. The truth is he is a master parasite masterful only in generating distortion barriers specifically crafted to cover his ineptitude as a public servant.

The point of the cartoon is that Gov. Dumbo Perry is always trying to attract business to Texas with promises of much less regulation. "Just do what you want down here fellows!" says the Gov. This fertilizer plant has had past problems regarding plant and worker safety. It's now obvious workers and community residents can pay the ultimate price for such indifference to safety and a "hands off" policy by governments. The Bee and the cartoonist are right in defending their right to express an opinion through an editorial page cartoon. Ever hear of "freedom of the press" Gov? You of course have the right to object and complain all you want, that's what "freedom of the speech" is all about! Don't look for any apology or retraction soon though. You don't deserve one!

Hmmmm ... agree with your right to express free speech that touts it but cares even less about those that defended it. Would you all find it funny if a cartoonist from another state generated a satirical cartoon depicting the tragedy of people suffering and dying from one of those major cracks in the fault lines or wildfires in which you continue to build schools and hospitals on? Pretty obtuse, don't ya think? The difference between Texans and the rest of the country is that we respect life and we will do what ever to comfort those that our suffering.

Political cartoons more often than not are not intended to be funny but make a point regarding issues of the day. If our Governor had cut a major amount of funding for fire protection and we had a disastrous fire that got way out of control because of it certainly a political cartoon criticizing him and partially blaming him for it would be in order. Nothing at all to do with Texans or anybody else respecting life! You missed the point completely...but then again you are from Texas where you fools elected George W. Bush TWICE and now have a Governor who is his clone but even dumber! Whoopi-ti-yi-yo y'all!

Now just who in the heck do those workers and people who live in the area think they are? Nobody asked them to work in that plant or live within 20 miles of that place. What part of shit happens don't these fellas not understand? The point is when you locate here in the great state of Texas we don't encumber you with no Yankee libral commie restrictions of any kind. There are three reasons why y'all should bring your business down here. Number 1 is no restrictions on anything. Number 2 is we keep our corporate taxes lower than even our services to poor people if you know what I mean. Number 3 is....uh....let's see now...uh....oh I will think of it pretty soon. Meanwhile y'all come on down to Texas!

Governor Rick Perry

P.S. A shout out to my grumpy old homie cwi530 up there in Northern Commiefornia. Keep all them guns you got ready bro. All them commies and librals and negros and hommos and immigrants you hate so much are probably getting ready to storm your castle any day. Come on down to Texas and join with us amigo. I got a Grand Wizard opening down in Lubbock that would be just right for you. Remember the Alamo and the south is going to rise again and God Bless America.
Your buddy Ricky.
