You must be confusing her with Jodie Laubenberg who hasn't a clue what the difference is between a rape kit and an abortion. Another anti choice brainiac!

Wendy Travis unfortunately for you KNEW what she was talking about!! And you lost!

Awwwwwwwww, it must be so tough for male Repukelians when a WOMAN like Sen. Wendy Davis filibusters and WINS. Too bleeping bad.

Senator Davis ROCKS! Unfortunately, she may have to do this again, if "tricky Ricky" Perry calls for a new session to try and pass SB5 again. Considering that Perry is a rabid ANTI-choicer, Texans need to remain on the alert.

Its a good thing that Wendy did know what she was talking about. Now there will be a lot less unwanted children

Nice.

Maybe we should do something similar for the unwanted ones running around now, huh?

Not as easy to catch them at this age, but worth a try, right?

You still don't get it, do you, Dan? FORCING women to gestate pregnancies they never wanted in the first place by banning abortion won't make anyone happy. Unwilling and possibly angry mothers are more likely to take their anger and resentment out on the children they didn't want. Funny how rabid anti-choicers never want to consider THAT ugly little fact.

NOT all women want to have children, Dan. Contrary to the "mothers never regret having their children" MYTH that anti-choicers like to perpetuate, there are many women who DO regret having their kids. But it's too late for them to change their minds.

I missed where the bill in question would "ban" abortion. It sought to restrict it after 20 weeks, but no "ban" mentioned that I saw.

Can you cite it?

You can play the semantics game all you want, Dan. I'm not interested.

It doesn't change the fact that the anti-choice agenda is to DENY women access to abortion and even some forms of contraception. Since the anti-choice Republican politicians can't reverse Roe v. Wade, they are doing the best they can in their states to restrict abortion to such an extent that many women will be DENIED access to it. If women can't get access to abortion or contraception, they don't HAVE choice.

Once again, she can't cite it for you, and gave you a completely ridiculous answer. She's crazy and replies to people nonsensically. She's quite disturbed. It's a war against men for her, not a fight for women. I figured that out long ago. Something must have happened to her at some point, because she hates men. She definitely needs help.

Contrary to the IDIOCY you keep spewing here, Kaykay, I don't "hate men." I do, however, have a healthy dose of contempt for anti-choice guys like Rick Perry and Ted Cruz (to name just two, there are many more like them) who insist they have the "right" to make women's medical decisions for us.

What Rick Perry is pissed about is that a WOMAN filibustered and WON, and for some reason he just can't deal with that. Nor, apparently, can he deal with any woman who doesn't accept his anti-abortion position. Too bad. I hope Senator Davis will decide to run for Governor and kick Perry OUT of the Governor's mansion in Texas. The guy is hopelessly OUT of touch, especially with women.

The bill sought to raises standards so high, that no other medical facility actually had them. It was a sneaky way of robbing a woman her right to choose, in the guise of protecting them from harm.

Umm, try to pay attention. I was talking about your twin morgana. The poster was speaking to her. Glad you answered though, shows that you recognize yourself! A man hater. If not, you wouldn't have mistaken the post as speaking of you. Carry on goofy.

Why do you insist about making abortion an anti-man issue? It's not.

You need to pay attention also. I'm not the one making it an anti man issue, morgana and ocean are. Read all their posts before you jump to conclusions.

I have seen their posts, and I don't see them as being anti-man. Also, when should a woman be allowed to have an abortion?

WRONG AGAIN, KayLayLousy, the post you addressed was to Ocean.

Poor KayLayLousy, can't fathom any logical argument except Ocean and I hate men.

Ocean and I do not like misogynistic men...you know....the ones you go for and love being their slave.

Poor you.

Since this is a PUBLIC message board, Kaykay, it really doesn't matter whether Dan was "speaking to her" or not. Neither Morgana nor I are, as you so stupidly put it, "man haters."

I can't speak for Morgana, but I have nothing but CONTEMPT for misogynistic guys like Rick Perry and Ted Cruz, who think women are too stupid to make medical decisions for ourselves so they "should" make them for us. If you want to call that being a "man hater," knock yourself out.

NO, we're NOT. I just wonder how ANY woman can believe the kind of nonsense you do.
