The American decline started in the 1960s.

The exact same time as the rise of Asia.

It accelerated even more with massive advancements in technology making the work of 200 possible with 1 and giving them the ability to manage (cheap) people remotely over thousands of miles.

It's not a coincidence.

Watching political parties blame each other is comedy and tragedy in equal measure.

The next US president, regardless of party, will be the worst one in living memory. Because there isn't really much that can be done at this point to stop the slide. You're broke and don't have any means to pay your debts and you won't give up your gluttonous entitlements or standard of living.

I'm not taking any pleasure in posting this, the US will drag the UK down with it.

You blame President Nixon then.

I blame Reagan & Bush II, with their 'free lunch for the rich' programs and tax cuts.

Just what America does NOT need:

"Governor Rick Perry, of Texas gave a speech in Manchester, New Hampshire, that was so obscurely digressive, so marked by airy hand gestures and slurry intonations that it was as if Foster Brooks were playing a character called Rick Perry

Wow, what a great read…

This article is a must read for anyone who hasn’t been able to articulate their thoughts on this dismal field of pathetic republican primary candidates. It further goes to show just why these right-wingers (in spite of their delusional prognostications about winning in 2012) have anxieties about their prospects and Obama’s uncanny standing among the American people, especially in this economy.

Herman Cain’s weekend affair with Newt Gingrich (with another shocking display of pure ignorance on the issues by Cain) at that so-called ‘Lincoln-Douglas’ style debate is more proof of why President Obama will most likely win re-election against this group of circus clowns.

And "snow White Clinton" is right in the limelight
still talking!!!! Some people just can't
determine what is right from wrong, nor who
is guilty of something. Can all of you have
different color glasses? Dam if I can figure
out which side of "fairness" your on. But
who cares anymore, you can overlook just about
anything. And blame who is handy. Lies seem
to be the how cover-up works.

*Maybe you are the ones who will wake up rich,
and never have to have a job...Looks like
thats the reason your Obama want his job to continue for 4 more yrs.

Have you ever seen such a weak bunch of repub candidates. Even repubs don't like them. But of course topix rightwingers won't admit they are not happy with any of these folks.

I never though I'd see the day when a highly supported repub candidate could brush off foreign policy like it's nothing. "China is developing nukes"...really top running Cain?

Romney flips even when he sleeps.

Perry is a drugged idiot who can't find his way.

Bachman is a joke.

Newt, married 3 times, 500k bills at Tiffanys, etc etc has as many skeletons as Cain.

The tea-party, and the need for these repubs to get their votes, has destroyed a once respectable party.

Reagan would laugh at this band of idiots called repub candidates.

Amazing how Bush made us safer, yet a person can make it through every security test to obtain top level security clearance by using ta fake ID.

How did that happen.

Lets see, Obama fake ID made it pass the Secret Service, the FBI, the CIA, the NSA and all Military clearances.

Yeah, that makes sense. You still think Bush made us safer? lol

Do you birthers even connect your dots, or you just throw dots out there and hope they stick.

Ask yourself, how does someone make it to top level security clearances while using a fake ID.

A WELL-CONNECTED PERSON OF THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT-CORPORATION NETWORK CAN DO THIS.

A Generation is DYING!...An Doctor OBAMA is a QUACK!!

Today's Young Adults Suffering More Financially than Older Generations
U.S.News & World Report LPBy Danielle Kurtzleben | US News – 5 hrs ago

Young Americans, take heart; there is empirical evidence that your parents' "When I was your age..." diatribes are currently meaningless.

According to a new report from the Pew Research Center, today's younger Americans are doing significantly worse economically than those of earlier generations. Meanwhile, the economic situation of older Americans continues to improve.

The report suggests that this growing gulf is the result of deeper, long-term societal changes, not simply the recent recession.

[Read about Americans' ever-increasing student debt burdens.]

The real median net worth of households headed by someone younger than 35 fell 68 percent from 1984 to 2009, whereas for households headed by someone 65 or older, net worth grew 42 percent over that 25-year period. The age gap holds across numerous other metrics, too: the poverty rate for households headed by adults 65 and older fell from 33 percent to 11 percent between 1967 and 2010, whereas that rate jumped from 12 to 22 percent over the same period for homes headed by Americans under 35. And while median adjusted household income grew by 27 percent for the younger group from 1967 to 2010, it grew by 109 percent for those 65 and older.

"Today's young are doing much less well than yesterday's young across all the dimensions that we measured," says Paul Taylor, executive vice president of the Pew Research Center and the report's co-author.

A new poll about the 2012 presidential election says one-third of Democrats and independents who lean to the left are unhappy with Barack Obama as the party's standard-bearer and are looking for some new faces to enter the race.

Responding to a question about how satisfied they are with Obama as the nominee, only 55 percent said they were very satisfied. Another 24 percent said they were somewhat satisfied, but that group apparently started falling away quickly, because fully one-third (35 percent) said they would "prefer that someone else enter the race" for the nomination.

Their flaws are irrelevant. obozo is going to be kicked to the curb regardless of who his challenger will be. obozo's record speaks for itself. Continued high unemployment. Record number of Americans living below the poverty line. Continuing foreclosures. Credit downgrades. Green energy scandals. Gun running scandal. Failed stimulus programs. Jamming his unwanted obozocare down our throats. High fuel prices. Cost of living going up, up and up. Putting us so far in debt that it will take generations to fix. The only good thing of any significance that the retard has really accomplished is to let our armed forces take out Osama. Blaming Bush, the GOP or who or what ever else the loser can think of isn't gonna cut it this time around. He's done.
