Agree with you on this. Hey I have reached the point that I am just not going to drink any of this Texas tea. I think they must be putting something in it. LOL
Those teabaggers are acting crazy.

Actually, Hitler was an atheist liberal - a socialist as in national socialist (Nazi). He became an atheist and a hater of Christianity when he was rejected by the church for the priesthood.

Haha! My, how they LOVE to rewrite history don't they? These days they're shameless about it too. They can barely contain themselves. They'll try to rewrite something that literally happened last week.

He wasn't a liberal. Google fascism. Though there admittedly isn't much of a difference between gov't oppression and corporate oppression... it's purely rhetorical. Oppression by any other name is still oppression.

No liberal would have supported, let alone set out to perfect the practice of ethnic cleansing. No liberal would have murdered homosexuals because they were homosexual. Though many modern liberals strongly argue against religious practice and even mock religious beliefs in general; no liberal would murder people over their religious beliefs. Need I go on?

In order to form a more perfect union, the United States should allow Texas to leave. They are a drain on the economy. They create havoc and destruction by allowing them to engage in our democracy/republic. They will have Texans sneaking into Mexico for better living conditions within 10 years.
Lots of Texans already retire to Mexico to get Mexico's universal health care, lower land prices and lower cost of living.

I expect to hear any time now that Texans are SENDING their aging parents to Mexico, as German citizens are now sending their old people to Eastern Bloc countries where it is cheaper to have them taken care of.

You could not be more wrong. Look it up.

"Information supplied by Hitler helped to track down several soldiers involved in the uprising. His officers were impressed by his HOSTILITY TO LEFT-WING IDEAS and he was recruited as a political officer'

Hitler...encouraged his supporters to carry out acts of violence against Jews and his left-wing political opponents.

As this violence was often directed against Socialists and Communists, the local right-wing Bavarian government did not take action against the Nazi Party.

"Hitler saw socialism as part of a Jewish conspiracy...It had not escaped Hitler's notice that Karl Marx, the prophet of socialism, had also been a Jew."

And so on and so forth. Hitler was a RIGHT-WING nut.

You're probably right... at least until the top 1% has finally milked this nation for all it's worth and turned the vast majority of it into a ghetto wasteland that you can't charge much money for anyway.

I hope those states DO secede from the union. F*ck 'em. We don't need 'em. America will always have California. Trust me... we're proud to be American and we're not going anywhere. We probably contribute more to the US economy than all the whiner states combined. We're probably paying for their welfare recipients and agricultural subsidies.

PS: By pounding my chest with California pride, I don't mean to discount the contributions of other great states. I just want to make that clear. I have nothing but respect for most all of the states in our country and their people. It's just a certain crowd of jackasses that I have no respect for and most of them would be the first to criticize my state.

In America, it's a politics turned toxic.

The 2012 election encouraged the idea that the U.S. is split into two camps that are politically and culturally alien and with opposing economic needs. Mitt Romney's infamous formula of the 47%(reiterated in his equally ugly post-election remarks about "gifts") played upon an old idea that one half of the country feeds off the taxes paid by the other half.

Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank points out that many of the secession petitioners live in states that are net beneficiaries of federal largesse: Louisiana gets $1.45 for every $1 it pays in taxes and Alabama gets $1.71 for every $1.

Given how much they take from the less mutinous states, he cheekily suggests that the secession petitions "give the opportunity to create what would be, in a fiscal sense, a far more perfect union."

The truth is not always a pretty thing. Romney is right. Obama used tax payer dollars to buy votes. whether it was signing executive orders to grant amnesty to a million illegals - costing America hundreds of billions for healthcare costs, foodstamps, and education, or extending unemployment benefits while eliminating the work requirement, Obama bought votes using tax payer dollars.

The whole system is going to come crashing down as those who are expected to pay for it all will just quit providing jobs and working - thereby eliminating the tax revenues required to support half the population who are dependent on such entitlements.

Failure is the plan. Obama is well on his way to destroying America. It's all going to fall apart within a few years. America will look like Chicago's inner city within a decade - from sea to shinning sea - The end of the usa.

No kidding.

The states that secede will escape Obama's crushing debt. Obama and liberals at the State level are driving America into the ground. All their liberal BS won't benefit anyone when the money runs out - And it will run out because the producers will decide that it's not worth producing anything when the government steps in and confiscates it - Just ask Hostess what they think...Big unions are an integral part of big liberal government...they are 2 sides of the same coin.

Sound argument, but there is one dominating draw back with the theory you propose concerning buying votes. Romney overwhelmingly won the votes in the States where 4 out of 10 workers pay absolutely no Federal Income Tax and are the recipients of federal largess.

Even if this is true, it's not relevant. Obama won by about 2 million votes. Most of these votes were bought. He had 10 million less voters this time too. If he hadn't bought votes using our money, then Romney would be President.
