The only reason the court ruled for gay marriage is because they had to distract from the elimination of the right to vote for millions the day before. So what if they allow gays to marry, when they stack the elections to make sure they have the power to rescind it later. Had it gone the other way, people would have been able to vote, and the will of the people would have overturned the hatred against gays anyway.
