The red states could do very well without these blue states. Be nice just to be surrounded with hard working, clean living, taxpaying Americans citizens. We really need to look into this. We could cut taxes by two thirds and our "Red State Country", would have jobs a plenty. We would need to put up a huge electric fence to keep the trash out.
Why don't you do everyone a favor and secede from life?

The "Red States Country", would do very very well. We would actually go by our Constitution. The government would protect our citizens and stay out of our business. We would collect social security and medicare and put it into a fund, which would be payed ONLY to those who payed into the system. We would be able to allow our citizens to retire much earlier, instead of constantly raising the retirement age to steal the money for socialist programs. We would live by the simple rules of DECENT people and not allow socialist to take over our daily lives. Flood prone areas would be off limits for homes and businesses. We would not saddle our citizens with the bill for those who chose to live where homes are regularly destroyed. We would take care of the diabled, but workfare and not welfare for others. Perverts, criminals and those who pry on our population would be dealt with very severely. Gangs would be destroyed just like any other enemy of the community. We would stop the welfare ho's from running baby factories to collect welfare. Citizens who refused to pay their own way by working would be put on a tow boat to Cuba. If you notice Red States are states where people know how to raise food and families that respect our country. Your blue states are the eye sores of this country. Citizens of blue states live like rats, so you can understand why they vot for socialist.

Not bloody likely.

Obviously you don't read, or you would know better.

•A subject that republican politicians will never ever bring up, and what they've apparently managed to hide in plain sight from their own constituents for decades...

"The 10 highest tax-producing states have all been “blue states” over the last few presidential elections. Of the 10 LOWEST, eight are “red.”

Even within states, Democratic-leaning counties tend to consume fewer services for the tax money they contribute than red counties do—even though Democratic areas generally include large urban populations."
{
•It’s a well-known irony that states that tend to vote Republican—the party that constantly raves about the “makers” and trolls the “takers”—generally take in more tax money than they pay out.

The first thing you notice when you look at the RED STATES, is that they are clean decent states where people live clean lives. The first thing you realize when you look at the blue states is: slums, ho's, gangs, homo's, roaches, racist blacks, every freak known to mankind, filthy vulgar people, drug dealers, murders, and crime of every sort. Kind of fits with the type of person they vote for. I guess they don't care if he is a Socialist Muslim!!!!

You're a moron beyond belief. Why don't you move to your Republican paradise so you can spend all day praying to Glen Beck and help the other followers scrub areas on Rush Limbaugh that he can't reach?

They can't, obviously.

"Tthe top states that want to secede also received the most federal tax dollars.(The exception is petition leader Texas, but they have their own reasons besides Obama’s win for believing in their own independence.)

By the 2010 numbers, Mississippi ($2.47) and Alabama ($2.03) both took in twice as much federal tax money as they paid. South Carolina was just eight cents behind at $1.92. According to a 2006 Tax Foundation study, Louisiana took in $1.45 for every dollar. Tennessee took in a $1.30. Arkansas took in a $1.47, and Oklahoma took in a $1.48 for every federal tax dollar they paid.

The fiscally conservative House Republicans should be jumping for joy at the prospect of cutting some of the most dependent victims who are mooching off federal dollars from the budget.

The problem is that the majority of the top petitioning states are the base of the Republican Party. If these freeloading red states were allowed to secede, not only would America’s deficit issues be resolved, but the Republican Party would never win another national election on their own."

Actually, voters REPUDIATED hate and divisiveness on election day.

All those billions spent by right-wing billionaires could not persuade people that the billionaires want what is best for America.

We understood the Republican message very well, and a MAJORITY OF VOTERS REJECTED IT.

So Soros doesn't qualify in your world?
By the way obama raised more money than Romney and most of it came from the so called rich. Ever hear of organized labor? You know the people that are killing the US industry. Wel obama is their man after Soros gives him his marching orders.

Pretty much by definition, rich people don't join labor unions.

Much more of Obama's funding came from small donations than did Romney's.

I think all the money spent on elections is total nonsense and waste.

Civilized countries limit campaigning to 3-6 weeks. We campaign year around, every year.

In some countries, political ads on TV are considered unacceptable for TV advertising.

Oh please, God, let me see that happen in my country. Soon. The campaign spending is obscene.
Romney has done little except campaign for 6 years.

$6 BILLION DOLLARS? That's disgusting.
