Rick Perry is just playing politics. The guy is a weasel. He is boldly pandering to the majority to keep their support. He knows there aren't enough atheists to cause him to lose an election, so he's free to take shots at them.

It's about as spineless and self serving as when Obama decided to support gays in the military ONLY when the majority of Americans came out in favor of it.

Typical gutless, self-serving, pandering politician- just like Obama. The only difference between them is Obama has a "D" next to his name, and has a better tan than Perry (though Perry has better hair).

I'm a Texan, and I've got a gutless, pandering Republican politician Governor (Perry) and a gutless, pandering Democrat politician for President (Obama).

Liberty Counsel Files Suit Over Banned Nativity Scene

Jacksonville, FL - Today Liberty Counsel filed suit against two Florida cities after both banned a private display of a nativity scene on public property. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Ken Koenig against Neptune Beach and Atlantic Beach, situated near Jacksonville.

At the point where the towns of Neptune Beach and Atlantic Beach join each other is a shared Town Center Park ("Park"). Both towns exercise joint control over the Park. In the Park is a forum that contains a 25-foot-tall Christmas tree that was lit on December 3 during a "Tree Lighting and Holiday Celebration." Both towns have approved an application by Cahabad@the Beaches to erect a large Menorah in the park.

Santa Monica...banned in parks and attempts to ban in front yards near the parks failed..failed. LMAO
Florida, New Jersey all had cases.

Yet Muslims are allowed to pray on the state funded streets? Bullshit.

You fkn liberals are so fkn stupid you'll let the government chip away at your rights while your defeding it..talk about STUPID!

Rick Perry is signing this bill has more courage in his pinkey than you and your boyfriend put together.

The Constitution protects citizens religion from the state...not the other way around, dumbass.

On Thursday, Perry signed what has been dubbed the “Merry Christmas bill” into law. The measure allows schools to display religious symbols such as nativity scenes and Christmas trees so long as at least one other religious image or secular icon is also included.

If you'll look at the picture, you'll see many different religions included.

the new law allows staff members and students at the state’s public schools to exchange traditional holiday greetings, such as “Merry Christmas,”“Happy Hanukkah” and “happy holidays” without fear of reprisal.

The law also says if you read the whole story that every religion is allow to show signs of their faith

1st Amendment of our Constitution protects the "free expression" of religion, remember?

It does NOT say....freedom FROM religion as they dumbass liberals who never read it claim.

Thanks Gov. Perry for protecting the Constitution...we wish oblubmer would do that.

Rick Perry is a cynical, pandering politician, just like Obama.

Your hysterical, childish, ad hominem "argument" does nothing to change that.

Perry is pandering, you've just got your head too deep in the GOP's ass to see it. Zeus, Buddha, and the Flying Spaghetti Monster coming to a school near you!
