Full story: WZVN

A man put to death in 2004 for killing his three children was "a monster," and suggestions that he may have been innocent are anti-death penalty propaganda, Gov.

There is only ONE monster in the murder of Cameron Todd Willingham and he will be brought to justice.

He was found guilty by a jury of his peers and was executed. The system worked. His actual innocence or guilt is inconsequential.

So, it doesn't matter if he was innocent. So it doesn't matter if what the jury was told wasn't true. Is this the way our system works or is this the way you and Perry want it to work?

Congratulations. That has GOT to be the dumbest 3 sentences I've ever read. Just because the court 'system' went through the process doesn't mean anything worked. Actual innocence or guilt is what the process is suppose to determine. When it determines it inaccurately, it becomes proof positive that the system did not work.

If you ever find yourself in Willingham's former position you'll sing a different song.

Who cares? He's dead! End of discussion. The interminable appeals process pick apart every death sentence and found no reason to overturn the Jury decision or order a new trial. Get over it! The real inhuman treatment is the years spent on death row. Give the convict one appeal then kill him get it over with.
Now prior to anyone making an asinine remark like I would sing a different tune if it were me. NO I WOULD NOT! Guilty or innocent get it over with I would want the thing done and not want to stretch it out over years.

Why is the local media so gutless and does not ask
Pinche Perry the real questions, the hard questions? The local media is run by republican right wing supporters! They could be considered the communication arm of the republican party!
Why do they treat this mafo with kit gloves?
He manipulates them with his little pinky!
These young stupid reporters are in awe, and gush all over anything or anyone that is perceived to be famous!
They also don't have the cajones!!!
Besides the local media is an oligopoly run by right wing conservative turds!

How can we go forward in the future until we correct the past? If things are wrong they need to be corrected. If there is error it needs to be discovered, and it certainly appears that way. If a person that was innocent was put to death--true he is dead--but his name needs to be cleared. No one needs to remain in history as a killer if he wasn't.

Yeah thats what these Liberals want till it hits their house. The guy was tried, found Guilty, sentenced, went through the appeals and then the sentence was carried out. I don't see the problem here. Kill then get killed simple.

I could push the button or plunger, etc to result in the death of these convicted felons and not miss a wink of sleep.

Capital punishment, the new public service.

We're not going anywhere! We going to blow past your flat broke kookoo state and leave you in the dust. We know you keep wanting us to secede so you don't have the leading conservative state from constantly going against your socialist agenda. Like it really works in Weidefornia. Farmers can't get water, 40 billion debt, people leaving in droves, many coming to Texas to find work, two thirds of your population working for the state or living on the dole. Yeah,'ol Califoneyea, that's the place where the progressive liberals have run for the last 50 years. What a joke.

Question is, Why was Perry so quick to dismiss the board members that were involved in the investigation?
What was he, Perry, worried about that they would uncover?
Something is rotten in Denmark!
There are many unanswered questions, and something is not right!
Where is the media to do some investigative reporting a la, Bernstein, of Watergate fame?
