State Sen. Jose Rodriguez has filed a pair of bills that would do away with an old Texas law barring "homosexual conduct" and overturn a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage.

I understand what Rodriguez is trying to do but there are few democratic places here in Texas which will vote the measures into Texas Law.

We need to tell these gays to put a sock in it, literally. They're always prancing around demanding equal access and ending years of intolerance towards them. But they fail to realize that ours is a free society and people can think what they want. Just because I'm a veteran doesn't mean that people owe me anything so why should we try to help them out?

So, if we were to create a few laws that penalize you for being a veteran, you would have no problem with it?
