Gingrich lovers are glowing over his new campaign slogans .........

"Contentment with mediocrity breeds success"

"No hope today means less disappointment tomorrow"

Romney is a Mormon which means he doesn't have any chance in South Carolina, no matter how many tea beggars get behind him.
PS: the putrid smell moved to Texas. It's just taking a few years to shovel out the manure.
Unfortunately, a huge faction of the republican party habors religious bigotry, which may keep a true conservate (Romney) from winning. Mitt is the most conservative candidate that could win (Santorum and Bachmann are also conservative but don't have a chance). The MSM and even Fox News have somehow convinced the public that Newt is more conservative than Mitt, which is laughable. A big part of the republican party's dislike for Mitt is pure old fashioned bigotry.

If GingRICH can't stand up to Mitt (and he won't), one can imagine what would happen over the summer.

Romney is a smart guy. He went around Fox. Newt worked on Fox for ten years and then had him on every night while he is running for president, giving him millions of dollars in free air time. Newt was supposed to be the Fox candidate. He doesn't have campaign donations. He was trying to get elected just by using Ruppert Murdock's media empire. Murdock has done that in other countries, so Newt figured it would work here. He's lazy and this way he didn't have to do much of anything, no fund raisers, just go on Fox shows each night, free advertising, the Fox shows were beating the drum for him. Romney stayed away from Fox, went it on his own, got tons and tons of money behind him and then carpet bombed Newt with negative ads in Iowa and killed him off politically. Ron Paul gets small donations from real people and he also carpet bombed Newt. Newt is toast. The Fox candidate is out, Fox knows it. Ronmey was right that you can win without Fox. What he is doing is going for the sane voters, the middle of the road Repubs, the fiscally conservative Dems and the Independents. He knows whoever the Independents vote for wins. So it's down to Ron Paul and Romney now. The tea party is out of it because they just do whatever Fox tells them, and Fox is out of it now.

I basically agree. Newt is a flash-in-the-pan. In two weeks his polling will be in single digits. These predictions by Morris and others that it will be a tight race between Romney and Newt will be proven wrong.

I agree. Morris got Clinton elected, he was a Democratic political consultant all of his working life, then he went to work on Fox so now he pretends to be a Republican. He has been wrong every single time. I think once he started lying, making things up to control the voters, he lost his intelligence. I agree, Newt will continue to tank. Morris said Bachmann will rise up. Not. It's going to be Romney and Ron Paul, IMO.

I wasn't sure at first if Romney was smart to not go on Fox, to stay away from the crazy factory. He was right to do that. He's a smart guy. I saw Charlie Rose and David Brooks talking last night and they said Romney is stable and a manager, not exciting but they are sick of the rock star types. Brooks said he loved Obama but Obama is a lot more liberal than he thought he was. Everyone wants someone mature and stable at this point, IMO. I like Romney as a second choice if Ron Paul does not get it. Other than that, I don't know, Obama is bad, the rest of the Repubs are really bad. But I think Ron Paul or Romney will win. I hope so.

Romney should challenge Gingrich to a foot race and see how quickly it takes before the fat ass of Gingrich runs out of gas.
Likely near 8 yards or less.

I agree... Newt is way too fat to be president.
