Meanwhile, NFS continues to assert that their "studies and reports" show that there will be minimal impact to an elementary school when they build a 300+ acre Intermodal Hub - 150 feet from the playground where 1000+ five thru eleven year olds have PE and recess.
Guess it's more successful PR to join the US Green Building Council while you really pillage the countryside and destroy communities along the 2500 miles of the Cresent Corridor. The railroad will protect itself, its image. We will continue to inform those "partners" whom the railroad tries to use to support its "Green" approach, that the railroad must not apply the same principals when forming their "mission statement". It must read something like: Protect the buildings, the affects on the children will not be known for years.........", if their treatment of the communities along this Cresent Corridor is any indications of their priorites.
