Explaining bath salts

There are 1 comment on the Belleville News Democrat story from Jul 7, 2012, titled Explaining bath salts. In it, Belleville News Democrat reports that:

Synthetic stimulants, containing cathinone-like substances such as MDPV, became known as bath salts because that was how they were sold and marketed in convenience stores and head shops under names such as "Ivory Wave" and "Vanilla Sky." They are not to be confused with traditional bath salts, which do not produce the same effect.
