Michelle Mcintire tried the murder case not Bradley Collins. Bradley has only been a lawyer for three years and a half years and has only tried Four cases and lost Two. This appointment was done by the Governor to punish South Georgia. The D.A.'s office will come to a stand still. This is a disgrace to our community.

Sounds like this is a good time to be a defendant on trial. At least you have a 50-50 chance of walking if Collins is the lead prosecutor.
Like Sissy, I would like to know the connection as well.

If Rick Currie doesn't support him then something is obviously wrong. This is obviously some political/payola appointment.

there is no connection with Collins & Governor Deal there is a reason why Currie left office and he did not resign he was told to leave. Over the next few months you will find Currie some where else besides his residence and he probably won't be eating pumpkin pie for a while

Jeff i know who you are don't use your real name on these message boards. Currie is on his way out for criminal reasons and there is no way the governor is accepting any recommendations from him period. There will be others joining Currie over the next few months. Currie won't be eating any pumpkin pie for a while. Be safe

None - The DA's office in Waycross is very corrupt. Currie is out for reasons of a criminal nature others will be joining him shortly afterwards. Gov Deal wants someone in office that has not been corrupted by Rick Currie and that is all.

I think you are all full of crap and should not make these unfounded allegations of corruption or infer criminal activity within the Waycross District Attorneys office. If you know wrong doing then notify some investigative agency. Put up or shut up!
It will be interesting to see qualifies against him (Collins) in the next election. Mr. Collins may have been appointed but the voters will have the last say.

How does the person who identifies their self as anonymous know that there is corruption in the DA office? Why would Deal appoint someone who had no experience and was fired from his position a month earlier. Why won't Collns make a public statement about what's going on with this appointment in what seems to be very shady politics. His statement in the paper today read like a high school book report. Somebody needs to make some type of a statement because this "corruption" in the DAs office and appointing a schoolboy with questionable character isn't going to fly. Wait until the people of ware county find out about the new DAs personal life. Then they really going to be upset with their Gov.

It's not shady politics. Yes there is corruption in the DA's office that is why Currie is out and there probably will be more going with him. Once he is out like gone no more free working then you will find out. He is not liked in Atlanta GA. Ask Judge Bogg's about Super DA Rick Currie he won't comment. As for Super Dick DA becoming a Judge that did not happen either and won't ever happen. The DA's office has been under investigation for about 4 years now. There are other police divisions that want to burn his ass you will see shortly

because i was interviewed by the Feds FBI about 4 years ago over a case in Ware County i got fucked by him and they said it would take them a while to investigate so i guess its time up for Super DA. That is all i can tell you.

Anonymous,

Lets assume you are right about corruption. Then this us back to the inexperienced Collins. Why him. Appears to be quid pro quo from the outside.

Because i think that the governor wants in a freshman who has not been corrupted or taught by Super DA Rick Currie and does not have any bad habits. There has been a lot of corruption in that office. jury rigging indictments being rigged pay off's to Judges back door dealing PCC being owned by a judge that is also illegal the list goes on and on the Feds told me they were coming through to clean house one day so this looks like the start of it, they said because of the amount of complaints it would take a while. Governor Deal has had enough or so it looks like.

This is why Super DA never got to be Judge he is corrupt and spiteful and has a God complex. You can kind of tell by what he states in these news articles what a spiteful person he is. If he keeps it up with the Gov. there is no telling where this will go. This is one of the reasons Judge Boggs left and went to Atlanta GA. To get out of the BS that was going off in that DA's office but he won't make no comment

Still doesn't answer the question. Collins has no experience. No experience at trying
Cases. No experience at running anything. If like you are saying he's the only decent guy at that office you still don't appoint someone who knows nothing. Plus there is a lot of talk in the community about his personal life and character.

well i don't know then the gov i know has a problem with Currie that is for sure and not Waycross that is why he probably did what he did and appointed Collins. Currie won't win against Deal. Judge Bogg's is from Waycross / Blackshear so South GA will always get what it needs from Atlanta.

Mega Kudos to whoever wrote that opinion piece in the Waycross Journal Herald. Lets recap what we as workers of Ware know so far:

1) Currie quit his job and appointed Barnhill to interm DA
2) Deal appointed a former ADA Brad Collins who was fired by Barnhill for incompetence. Collins by the way has tried 4 cases in 3 years and won 2.
3) According to someone on this chat room named "Anonymous", Currie and the entire DAs office is corrupt and has been under investigation by the FBI. And in an effort to restore the DAs office reputation, Deal with the advice from Judge Boggs decided to appoint a 31 year old inexperienced, unemployed schoolboy to run the DAs office in this circuit.
4) According to who wrote the piece in the Waycross Journal Herald, Collins too has broken the law in the questioning of a witness. I'm assuming the FBI is looking into that too.
5) And according to Myra Thrift of the Waycross Journal Herald, Collins decided to respond at a later date about his controversial appointment by Deal. That my friends is a real man.

If Collins is to ignorant to release a statement then he's as foolish as Obama with IRS, Benghazi, NSA, Trayvon Martin!!! I assume Collins is a democrat with his immature actions. And the fact that Collins has allied himself with Judge Boggs, Two men that are known adulterers is not surprising.(Lie about that Collins and Ill burn you!!!!).
