Oct 30, 2011 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: The Indianapolis Star

Four years ago we said on this page that Greg Ballard wasn't 'remotely qualified' to be mayor.

It is official.

The city needs Kennedy!

The police hate Ballard.

Nonetheless, Kennedy recognizes that Indianapolis can't just coast, for coasting means going downhill. To move ahead, we need much more than the basics, which Ballard has provided well. We need clear vision, the promise of hope for all of our residents no matter their lot in life, and a mayor who can be a leader among the nation's mayors.

We need Melina Kennedy.

Ballard has done nothing to advance this city, but has been stellar in rolling over for businesses and for selling of public assets. He is much like daniels, whose motto is, "If I don't understand it, sell it."

Ballard gave us the FINGER! He has been shown a fraud and a crook despite all the money from the country club republicans!

From the Star:

"Four years ago we said on this page that Greg Ballard wasn't "remotely qualified" to be mayor. He has proven that was not the case.

The former Marine colonel and political outsider seemingly was off everybody's radar when, sensing public unrest over the handling of city government by Democrats, he entered the race. With only a sliver of traditional Republican and business support, Ballard scored one of the biggest upsets in Indiana political history."

After his inauguration, Ballard's initial performance was less than stellar.

People voted Bart out and voted in a yellow dog. We survived. We now have to vote that dog Ballard out.

You got it right. Kennedy and gang are the big government type that preys on the common citizen. Higher taxes, more big brother and definitely marxist are their goals.

Oh yeah like the brilliant piece of work called Bart.
Signed a 20 year lease with Irsay and was on tv holding hands and cheeering about how this deal would keep the colts in Indy.....and wouldn't cost the taxpayers a dime being it would be paid for by off track betting parlors..........only 1 problem the dipshit forgot about......gambling is a state issue and not local and can only be enacteed by legislatures.

Yeah a real homework whiz when referring to someone not knowing what the hell they are doing..........Indy has so much more of the same stupidity to look forward to under kennedy.

Can't wait until she teaches all of the kids to read by 3rd grade. Wonder if maybe the union teachers should be doing that instead of concentrating their efforts on political donations or pissing and moaning about their pay?........Silly me, its the pay thats the real issue here.

Actually, idiot, it was DANIELS who stepped in when peterson was going to end negotiations with irsay because the colts wanted the moon on a string and didn't want to pay for anything. Daniels gave irsay everything he wanted, including a horrendously-overpriced stadium that we will never pay off. Daniels even managed to tax outlying counties to help pay for it.

Teachers' pay is lower here than in many states, and they have to pay for everything from student loans to mandatory continuing education to even supplying materials to the classrooms that the school system won't. Maybe you sill work for whatever scraps the system might toss you, but teachers have to work hard to do what they do. They have to educate the kids as well as watch for signs of abuse (mandatory), correct papers on their own time, and make up for the intellectual and social deficits of the parents who don't give a damn about their kids or their education, usually with 30 or more kids in each class. Could YOU handle 30 kids at a time?

Tell you what, you trot your kids out and let everyone judge your ability as a parent--a position you neither studied for or are in any way certified to hold.

Apparently once again your Google buttons broken, because anyone can find the info, its in his own words you tool.
Maybe WTHR mistook Peterson for Ballard, and maybe its Balllard in the videos and pictures dressed up like Peterson

Email Melina and ask what lies you should say or type now?

As for Daniels stepping in......try again whackjob, the donut proposal was the only thing left to try and it wasn't Daniels who put it on the BAllot, it left the legislatures hands tied after notjob Bart already signed the deal BEFORE coming up with the financing..........but nice try at doing what libs always do when placing the blame for their actions and decisions..........Lie and blame others.

Wrong. Ballard was not going to pay what irsay wanted; daniels assured irsay of the funding. Keep in mind that it was not the governor's place to even get involved in a city contract or negotiation. Daniels's arrogance has cost this city millions it will never recover. As usual, it was the "fiscally-responsible republicans" that tosses tax monies away on frivolous endeavors.

I'm not unemployed, nor am I defending unions per se. In THIS state, teacher's unions are the only reason any teachers get contracts; the state keeps trying to get them to work without one. The state also tries to get rid o older teachers to hire new ones--not due to competence but because you can hire a new, young teacher cheaper than you giving an older teacher a raise.

Maybe if you became more of an "expert" in our educational system, you would know what the hell you are talking bout.

Dear nutjob, Ballard wasn't even in office when Bart the dumbshit Peterson inked the deal!

Read the entire article, daniels HAD to get involved after Bart inked the deal without financing. Bart even says HE's HOPING TO USE PULLTABS to pay for it.
The legislatures said its not going to happen!

Daniels said.....being that reading comprehension is an issue with you and most libtards.

"Its not fair to have people outside of Indy to have to pay for a deal Bart signed that benefits marion county"!

Read the article Melina! Barts spending, foreclosures and crime was why a no-name beat Peterson.....and she was part of that problem....but to a lib it doesn't matter...they usually don't pay taxes anyways.

You are absolutely correct "tax and spend nutjobs." Nobody realizes what truly happened on Bart and Melina's time. Now they can blame Mayor Ballard for Bart's overspending and putting this city in debt for millions of dollars. The are the democraps!
