It's really quite sad that only "conservatives" believe it's okay to discriminate against people. But they can't help themselves. Conservatism is, after all, a overreactive, fear based mental disorder. I'd have sympathy for them if they weren't such evil people...

Single people gay and straight have to pay higher tax rates. Is the government pushing for everyone to marry and discriminating against non-married people and gay people? And in most places gay people don't have the option to marry and if they do the federal government doesn't recognize it via DOMA and therefore basically told and forced to lie against their will and say they are single on tax forms and to the IRS or go to jail. DOMA denies gay married couples over 1,100 federal, rights, privileges, and responsibilities afforded to straight couples. Why does the government want to encourage "procreation through heterosexual marriages?" Isn't there enough babies and people in this world?! We are overpopulated as it is. Be happy we have gays in this world. Anti-gay legislation cost taxpayers money. Shouldn't gay people get a tax break for this? Don't the people and gays have any say in where our tax dollars go? Should LGBT people be required to pay taxes to discriminate against themselves and when they do not have the same rights as heterosexual Americans?

I get tired of Republicans pushing their religious dogma on the people through anti-gay legislation, discrimination against women and transgendered people, and saying what days and times you can buy alcohol. What's wrong with buying alcohol on Sunday, having the drinking age changed to 18 (an adult), and drinking past midnight at a bar? Sounds like there is nothing wrong other than it offends the religious beliefs of a very loud and vocal minority.

I'm saddened to learn there are so many ignorant prejudiced people in Indiana. How did they all get into office? What a shame they choose to move their state backwards instead of being leaders and working for equality for all families. Their god must be very ashamed of them!

Trying to disenfranchise others on the legal definition of marriage is NOT a basic human right. You have no right to undemocratically force your concocted, failed philosophy of homosexual marriage into law, contrary to the wishes of most voters.

Homosexual marriage is a cruel lie with no real basis in homosexual life. No significant percent of the homosexual population has 'married' in ANY country that allows it.

Once we get rid of this new religion called Psychology, we can criminalize homosexual behavior again as it should be. To think that this nation would commit suicide by allowing the most deviant, diseased and damaging behaviors of less than 1% of the population to dominate and direct this nation is like mind rape. They are scum and predators. They will not stop until they are standing outside your home doors demanding access to your children as they have done in the libraries, schools and public stadiums.

Of course the republicans are pushing the culture wars again. They don't have anything else, no jobs, no economic recovery plans, no protection from the next financial bubble they are helping to push. Turns out they are just republicants.

Any "gay" demands are designed for one thing and one thing only... To keep you upset. While the majority of mankind suffers in revulsion for the perversion they know will ruin civilization, the Left continues to enslave you.

Homosexuals are tools of the Left and that is all they are.

If it wasn't for bass-ackward places like Indiana making illegal laws for us to take to court; we wouldn't be making such epic progress!

Cruel to whom? Straight people or gay people or both? I don't consider marrying a man I fall in love with to be cruel to anyone. You sound ignorant on the subject. You may not consider them married "in the eyes of God" but where they can legally marry they are considered married by the state or country and they have certain legal rights that come with that and there is nothing your beliefs or opinions can do to change that.

It sounds to me like the religion of psychology would do you good. You certainly need a psychologist bad enough. You sound very paranoid and like someone that needs a lot of therapy. Crazy!

Yeah gays want full equality just to upset crazy, ignorant people like you. Yeah they just think about you all the time and how to upset you. I'm kidding of course, being sarcastic. Well when I marry the man I love I'll be sure to send you an invitation to the wedding. I'm sure it would just make your day.

LOL.

First, hate to break it to you but a great many gay folks are fiscal conservatives.

Secod, how is wanting to marry one's Love a "leftist plot". Don't a lot of folks on the right do it all the time? I know their divorce rates are shy high, but they STILL marry.

Do you know what all of those scary "Gay Demands" for marriage equality are really for?

Here is the great Gay Agenda:

Wait for it ...

Wait for it ...

Here it comes ...

We want to protect ourselves and our families in the exact same ways that all of the straight folks do!!!!

There it is!

It's out!

No more secrets!

And 50% of all heterosexual marriages end in divorce, so I'd say THAT is a "failed philosophy". Therefore we should ban heterosexauls from getting married as well.
