I don't know what the county offers to our less fortunate - but I believe we need to offer full OB/Gyn services to these citizens. They deserve to receive health care and to have control over how many children they conceive. Are contraceptives being offered? It will be less expensive to prevent unwanted pregnancies than to deal with the problems later. Are users screened to be sure they are low income? Are they screened for residency in Carroll County?

if people were being screened to use these services then what would the hispanic do, oh wait they don't use birth control. All they know is how to keep having more babies and costing the health dept more money. Maybe thats the answer, screen everybody and make sure they are legal us citizens before they can get any services even WIC. That would bring the cost down but then somebody would cry discrimination.

Supposedly most of the money is being spent on the birth control pill. They deserve to have control over how many children they have if they can afford them!! I'm tired of paying for other people's children. We waited until we were financially secure to have children b/c it's the right thing to do. It's not right to have children & have to rely on the charity of the gov't & other people to raise them!
