How 'bout typing on your laptop while driving???
These goofy Rushville cops continually type on their dashboard mounted laptops while driving.

It's hard to tell whether they're ordering up the latest edition of Jerry Springer on hulu, or downloading porn, or just emailing their girlfriend for a rendezvous later on in the evening after her husband leaves for work.

This texting law should apply to cops and their laptops too!

I'm guessing from the last sentence of the second paragraph that a cop must have boned his wife. Sorry bout your luck bro. Chicks dig cops? Doesn't mean she didn't love you, it just means that you suck in bed and your member is small. He gave her what she wanted that's all!

People will still continue to text & talk. I passed an officer last week & he was texting too. I might add there are a few officers here in town addicted to those tall cans of "speed" You can bet if you're out driving around long enough, you will spot a tall can being lifted. Energy drinks are bad for you!! They're just like poppin a pill only in a can.

This change is long overdue. Sorry the libs can't adjust to it. They are so afraid of losing their rights they will continue crying for years.

I own a Droid X how can they tell what Im doing Texting or searching for a number? Its all touch screen....Also Joe Watts from ISP says you cant text read or email but yet u can search the web n make calls. Now that makes no sense. people just need to use common sense this law isnt going know where, The police have no powers to take your phone to search what u was doing, it on a trust basic, oh yea officer I was texting please give me a 500 dollar ticket ya right. no one is going to be honest so why even waist tax payers dollars to enforce it. This law is never going to work or change anything. Teen, Adults and every business person will still be doing it including the police themself. But its okay for them to type on there laptop while driving right, they took special classes to be able to do that and stay focused its nothing but a power trip. Keep texting they cant do nothing. Prove it in court.....

Yep, surfing the Internet on your iPhone or Droid is perfectly legal but texting isn't.
Forgetting to add Internet surfing to the law is a boneheaded move by the Indiana legislature. Sort of like Bill Todd forgetting to research if an area of Rushville is in a flood zone.
We wouldn't be surprised if some of these Rushville half-brained half-wits had a hand in writing that texting law.
