Latinos seem to think that because they voted for someone, that candidate has to do everything that they ask of him, especially when it comes to what latinos want. There is no consideration for the whole of the nation, just latinos. This is serious, we must put a stop to it, our politicians march in line. We must remind them that a vote for things like the Dream Act is serveral votes lost from your base.
Amazing, California has special funds set aside for illegal aliens to attend college. Yet, they go into the whole for over a billion dollars a month. California has become pro illegal alien, and un American. It's as though the only way for us to produce college educated children is through illegal aliens...if you listen to their rhetoric.
HELL NO ON DREAM ACT!!!!! Let Califorina take care of them...
Hi Lois, this is exactly why Oakland is still in the shape it's in. The name Little Iraq is what they called Oakland under the so called leadership of Jerry the Jew Boy Brown. The 3rd world scum that the Democrats have allowed to invade are more hated and despised everyday. They think their getting away with something, Just wait! We'll see who has the last laugh. Their making en-roads to their own demise as the American populace grows more angry and disgusted by the day. Read the blogs and comments from coast to coast, north to south. We saw what happened on Nov. 2nd, well let's keep faxing, writing, calling and emailing them so our expectations will not fall on deaf ears. Keep the pressure on all of them even the leftest Democrats. They are not immune as they saw in November. There are still more Americans than illegals. California is not dead yet!!

Illegals will make huge gains under Brown.
He was very public about his lack of pride in his citizenship or concern for California's future during his campaign.

Why are we granting a free college education to illegals, when they're prohibited from getting a job later because they lack legal work permits?
Yet thousands of American kids, who want to go to college and who want to work their way through, are turned away.
This policy is just stupid.
No duh and discriminatory too!

There are still decent, patriotic Democrats in other States. Just because our State's Dems are vicious anti citizen mobsters doesn't mean other American Democrats are out to destroy America.

It is very frusturating to live in beautiful Cali as a legal citizen.
This state is worth saving!!!!
Not everyone in Cali hires illegal labor
Our local government is selling us out
Illegals do not boost the economy, they suck it dry like ticks
on a dog
It is time to apply some remedies to get rid of them!
I agree!

Not all; I didn't vote for Brown.
I am first generation American. My parents came from Mexico with visas in hand and worked hard to become U.S. Citizens. They made ours an English speaking home, worked and paid taxes and never, never expected hand-outs from any one. They were proud and grateful for the privilege to vote. My father fought in WWII and both of my parents said that the happiest day of their lives was the one when they became U.S. Citizens.
They worked hard all their adult lives to become Americans. They taught my siblings and me to work hard for what we want, abide by the law and be responsible for our actions.
My parents were so ashamed of the Mexicans who came here only to work the system and take advantage of programs meant to help those truly in need.
I am proud of the legacy my parents left for their family.
My parents taught me that the true Mexican heritage is devotion to God and family, work hard to provide for your own, obey the law, repay your debts and be a responsible citizen.
Congrats and tell your parents that they are the Americans that we are proud of! Too bad so many of the other people of Mexican heritage are not like your parents. Your parents sounds like very smart loyal people!

Unfortunately, we don't hear from you! We need to hear from LEGAL immigrants who are fed up with the game that illegal aliens are playing in our country. I never hear of legal immigrants who are sick and tired of what's going on with illegal aliens. We need to hear your voices loud and clear. You are the ones who need to express outrage to our congress and president!!! Go for it!!!

You represent the true meaning of an American....

Like John F. Kennedy said "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country"

I think the Democratic ideals died with him, as Democrats today seem to be centered on what they as the Government can do for everyone else. John Kennedy believed that Government need to be good stewards of Taxpayer money and that Americans had a responsibility to themselves and their government. Democrats today feel it is the Government's job to take care of everyone and personal responsibility is no longer valid.
