Oklahoma's new Republican governor promised a series of reforms on Monday that will help lure businesses to the state and vowed to modernize state government to help fill an estimated $600 million hole in the state's operating budget.

Fallin reiterated promises she made on the campaign trail - to overhaul the state's workers' compensation and civil justice systems to create a more business friendly environment in the state. She urged lawmakers to send her a civil justice reform bill that includes a $250,000 cap on non-economic damages, commonly referred to as pain and suffering damages.
Fallin wants protectionism for the elite.
