Well that sure opened for a load of discussion. Any other one-sided, biased and probably incorrect economic viewpoints you'd like to push on us today? Be our guest.

We were wrong in so many ways. We felt the people of America would vote against high unemployment, want a stronger economy with Jobs, a stronger future for their children and grandchildren and spendable income, but all they really wanted was more candy, a phone and free stuff like $6 pills. Entitlement won.

That I can agree with, but if it's awareness that you pursue, you should respect your opponent in a dilemma. Respect your opponent by structuring your forum title with an open-ended topic intro and participating without directly shutting your opponent out.

After all, who would dare enter this discussion but an extremist parallel or an irate opponent? You aren't going to effectively raise awareness with a title like this, just start fights.

Also, there are many who confide their personal relations and monetary dispositions to themselves and their banks. Some people have earned their profits from the sweat of their brow, and some people are too poor for more government. You've completely called anybody with a view differing from yours a dumbass, an that's both disrespectful and ignorant. You're better than this, I'm sure. Next time, open the forum with a question, provide your vantage, and discuss it respectfully with others on Topix. You're bound to learn just how impressive the opposition is.

After all, the rags-to-riches stories all happened in complete disregard of those in need. People can - and will - be successful. Calling the historically conservative mentality "flawed" without proof is like saying the Holocaust never happened.
