Sebelius struggled with GOP on health care in Kan.

There are 9 comments on the The Associated Press story from Feb 21, 2009, titled Sebelius struggled with GOP on health care in Kan. . In it, The Associated Press reports that:

Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius cultivates an image as a bipartisan problem-solver, but her ambitions on health care issues have often been frustrated by the Republican-controlled Kansas Legislature.

The Democratic governor's record on health care is getting attention because she's viewed in Washington as a leading candidate for health and human services secretary.

Sebelius' backers _ and even some opponents _ believe any governor's opportunities to make changes are limited, particularly because most states, including Kansas, face recession-related budget problems.

Sorry Joe,
The rat is living in the White House! Mark my words, he will with Sibelius input make it law to give illegals further medical care on our dime. They can already go to any ER and use it as a doctors office to obtain free medical care. We have to educate their children too. Try going to their countries and asking for that service. You'd see a rude awaking. I worked in the financial field in a hospital many years. I know the game. They do not pay their bills, and eventually hospital close due to the strain. Wake up America. Stop the madness, send them home, protect your children's future. expunge liberalism, it is a disease.

It's nice to know there are people like you who have never worked a day in your life. I suppose you want to keep the leisure class in a style to which it has become accustomed. I want to quit paying for you. If you want money, get a job and work for it like everyone else.

Hey Don Joe,
Where on earth did you get this rubbish you posted?
You wrote:

Do you Toni? I live in the same city as she, but I don't know her. And you know her well enough, to say she has never worked a day in her life? Are you nuts, or what?????
She wrote in her comments, "I worked in the financial field in a hospital many years."
---------
Then you wrote:
"I suppose you want to keep the leisure class in a style to which it has become accustomed. I want to quit paying for you. If you want money, get a job and work for it like everyone else."
Had you been drinking for several hours before you wrote those comments?
Your comments are totally conflicting.
Please explain to me how you can say in one sentence:
"I suppose you want to keep the leisure class in a style to which it has become accustomed."
And in the same pararaph - next sentence write:
"I want to quit paying for you. If you want money, get a job and work for it like everyone else."
According to your comments, Toni has a lifestyle of leisure to which she is accustomed, but you're tired of paying for her, and you suggest she get a job like everyone else.
But she already said she worked in the financial field in a hospital many years.

I guess you didn't read her post where she implied she was part of the leisure class and her work was to collect checks from the rest of us. If you want to give her all your hard earned cash, go ahead, I don't want to. Yes, she said she was in financial services, you can read that as I get people to pay for emergency services at 35% interest, plus fees. They are just glad they don't bring back usury laws. I suppose you might consider lending at twice the rate the mob used to lend as a good deal. They won't break your legs, they will steal your house.

I worked hard as a Financial Advisor in a hospital. I took charity applications, reviewed them, determined the amount of write-off, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%. These w/o's were based on income, family size, utilities bills, debts, work status. You had to have a social security number to qualify. The government picked up the tab for these medical bill write-offs. Our tax dollars pay for illegals medical care. Yes, there were many true hardship cases of American citizens. And we bent over back-wards to approve them for assistance. But there were many applications by Mexican nationals pretending to be American citizens. They use a legals social and take that persons identity to bilk our social services system. Our hands were tied. We could not totally screen the information provided. Joe, hospitals work in the red most of the time. There is no 35% interest! Many hospitals are closing for the reasons I stated above. If you cannot see the problem, you are part of the problem! Next time you pay your medical bill, think about the people living in your community on your dime. You are paying for their medical care. Does that make you feel touchy feely?
