A high school drop-out? Seriously? Seems somewhat moderate and rational though. Is there such a thing in the Republican party?

A high school drop out in the title of this thread does not give justice to the fact that Mr. Huntsman went on to earn a degree at the University of Pennsylvania.

At least this candidate has "foreign relation" experience in China and should bring some experience to that issue.

If this candidate can stay off the usual frightwight scare mongering nonsense usually seen from the tearepublicants, he will get a nod from the rational and reasoned voters.

The other non-rational and non-reasoned voters will continue to be fringe, vote for the screechers and gripers and will vote for the crazies like Bachmann.

Although President Obama is in a great position to be easily re-elected, having Huntsman or Romney as his potential opponents isn’t a bad thing. Both are pretty weak and can be push around by the Democrats in Congress; and neither of them are a right-wing extremist nut-job like the other idiots running in the republican primaries.

Mitt Romney has change from liberal to conservative to moderate over the course of 4 election cycles so he isn’t an ideologue; and Huntsman is a reasonable fellow that worked for President Obama and praised his great leadership… a tolerable option if left with either of them.

I’d take a soft conservative over a right-wing tea-bagging fool any day.

My coffee is fine, I just don't see with rose
colored glasses. My negativity does not just apply to one
party. I can see both sides, some refuse not to.

Huntsman is Obama's ticket to reelection. Look for the media to fawn over him to generate interest. He'll be the 2012 'moderate' under the Independent banner. Obama CANNOT win with approval ratings in the 40's. Those ratings have historical accuracy come election day. Obama WILL need a third party candidate to win with less than 50% of the vote, Huntsman, an Obama appointee, is the man the Dems/MSM will be hyping and would be very happy that he gets a 8-12% take come election day.

What honest, concerned, informed Democrats need are some more "flavors" to represent Democrat voters that can not in good conscience support Obama.
Then whole of Democrat nation can not come up with even one more person they belive can be a good POTUS.

This is a very sad state for the Demorcatic party and for Democratic voters.

Keep putting Huntsman down, possibly the only rational Republican in the game. If conservative loons ignore him, that'll be just fine with us lefties.
