County considering use of closed Franklin Furnace jail
At the Tuesday meeting of the Scioto County Commissioners, there was an indication of interest in owning the former Ohio River Valley Juvenile Correctional Facility at 4696 Gallia Pike in Franklin Furnace to establish a regional jail.

I think it's great the the county is once again going to dump on us! While Green kids go to school in trailers, the commissioners want to give the criminals first class accommodations. Wish all you clowns would resign.

I have always said they should turn that building into the school.It would make a nice school for our kids and theres metal detectors there already so we wouldnt have to worry so much.
