Well I guess we will see if the union presents this proposal to the members. They thought they knew better and didn't present the second proposal, wonder if they still think they know everything?

Don't forget to wear your "Alcantraz" shirt on your first day of work. Also if you act now, we'll send you the new "Con-STEAL-ium" shirt just for playing nice. But wait....if you call within the next 10 minutes...we'll double your order. Yes that's right, now your whole family can wear "Con-STEAL-ium" shirts to church every Sunday.

One day longer my a__. We have had Governor Tomlin, Senator Manchin, and two federal negotiators help bring us back to the table. I am unwilling to be led like blind sheep to slaughter. Our commitee needs to treat us with respect, and let us not only see the offer, but LET US VOTE!!!!! It's our representatives that make us look like a bunch of Neanderthal hillbillies. I don't know about you, but I am not willing to let them keep deciding my future for me. Tell me to call my creditors and beg for time. Take them a list of documentation to prove I have no income in order to receive union help. Beg an already suffering community for cash and food. I'm not non union, I just want the ability to decide my own future with dignity. So PLEASE LET US VOTE.

Don't expect to see this offer. Ole Barney has his power (confidence vote) and will impose his will on this membership at all costs. The leadership has drawn a line in the sand, and no matter what the offer, no matter how much money is thrown at changes to the insurance plan, they won't budge as long as 700 members don't come to the union hall (at an official meeting) and demand they do...and, if they can, not even then.

Maybe international will step in and dictate some sense. Its funny how for years we've been afraid international would step in and force a contract against the will of the members, and now we need them to force our leadership to hear the voice of the membership.

Quit drinking the freaking koolaid. We have to do something besides run our mouths. Send these as emails to international. Tell them why our vote of confidence has been abused and why.
