Gov. Jim Gibbons closes the latest chapter in his 20-year political career after a rough-and-tumble term that left him politically bruised and physically battered - the latter courtesy of a feisty horse.

Yeah, I understand he might have been road hard and put away wet, but then again he did some other kinds of riding while in office, as his ex, or the cocktail waitress in Las Vegas he assaulted.
Now we face a new incoming governor who in the one debate I watched in the primary was nothing more than a younger flashier version of Gibbons. he almost entirely spoke the same song Gibbons did on every question, so what is going to change. Our paychecks and pensions and the ability to have a contract with our employers.
Good luck on our retirement and I am getting ready for further cuts in our state and less money to fund basic services.
