California bullet train up for contentious vote
Gov. Jerry Brown's ambitious plan to start building the nation's first dedicated high-speed rail line is set for a pivotal vote by the Legislature this week with some state lawmakers still skeptical about spending billions in the Central Valley.

The people voted yes self included. Don't de rail our future . If you do a lot of long term residents and investors will go out of state. Heck later this year I will be buying property and if bullet plans fall out then I will only be buying in Oregonunsteadilyy of my current plan to buy in an area that would flow though the Bakersfeild station. That's money in spending this year so hopefully these guys don't mess up everyone's plans at the last minute.
