Delaware to be eighth state to recognize gay civil unions
Delaware governor Jack Markell is expected to sign into law a bill that will make the state the eighth to recognize civil unions for same-sex couples, his office said on Friday.

The list doesn't seem to include states that recognize marriage equality. Also, shouldn't Illinois be listed?

It's a step in the right direction Frank. Granted it isn't "full equality" since the Fed doesn't equate "civil unions" with "marriage". But on the State level is does give us something.
