Constellium loses benefits appeal

A state appeals panel has upheld a labor board's decision to grant unemployment benefits to 609 Constellium workers who participated in a seven-week strike at the Ravenswood plant last summer.

Huh? I said three months ago that the company always loses the appeal. You must work at the plant. And those dipshits blew their unemployment money right after they took over copper security detail.

Maybe public employees should work out contracts with their employers every 2 years or so. If they don't get a raise or some other benefit increase such as retirement, they could strike and get unemployement as well. Let's see who should do this...police officers, state police, school teachers, bus drivers, principles, cooks, game wardens....the list could go on for ever. Since all these aluminum guys have all this money to pay taxes on, no doubt they would support this idea for their union brothers and sisters. Go Union!

say what you want about management. they saved the plant for the jackrock and brick throwing thugs. they did a dam good job with just a few men and women. saved the plants existence if you ask me. you union folks sure do hate the brass. is it the authority you guys dislike ?

Nope, it's not the authority that drives everyone against management. It is the brazen arrogance that the authority is delivered with. Lower management even hates upper management. Guess you would have to see it to understand.
