The word ‘politics’ is made up of the words ‘poli’ meaning ‘many’ in Latin, and ‘tics’ as in ‘bloodsucking creatures’

This is my opinion of Politicians.

Untrue. Your rap sheet means a lot in a court of law.Call it profiling if you want but it is a history of your past. Something you did during your life.Things that you did to break the law.
No matter what you did now. your past is a reflection of "you" as a citizen. When I was in grade school we were taught that, there are things you don't want on your permanent record.
I was born and raised in Danbury and I don't know anyone who was unjustly convicted of any crime.
Also why would any man want to be with an unstable women,or any woman want to be with an unstable man. If your accuser was a stranger, she would have to show beyond a reasonable doubt evidence.
I am sorry you feel this way,but I think there is more to this story than is being stated. The constitution states that you must be proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. And you are allowed a jury trial of your peers. As far as public defenders go. They want a good track record of protecting their clients. Thats how they get picked up by law firms for private practice.
Remember my girlfriend is a paralegal for a law firm. This is how it is. Like it or not!!!
I am sorry but I disagree from my own observation and that of many Lawyers I am friends with for over 30 years. In fact have 2 atty's in my family. Truthfully the better the atty the better the chance and better cost $$$$$$$$$. My grandma had a saying "Money goes to Jail" Meaning when you have bucks quite often NO jail or minimal...It also pays to have "CONNECTIONS" Just ask the Kennedy family, the Clinton family, OJ,..You must be very young because I once thought the way you do BUT I happen to have had someone violate pour family with CONNECTIONS(UNCLE WAS TOP CRIMINAL ATTY..His Mommy well to do...and he got away with so much criminal activity it is a SIN!!!

He was a violent offender, drug abusing POS..mommy covered and paid for all of his misdeeds. Uncle got him freedom to move on to the next victim, and trust me there were many. Our family was vicimized by him, his mother and the corrupt judicial system. THESE ARE FACTS OF TRUTH!

I'm 60 years old. If it were my family, that would have never happened more than once.

Your rap sheet DOES mean a lot in the court of law but what I am saying is that it shouldn't. What a person did in his/her past has nothing to do with the crime in question. That is why so many people return to prison, not because they have committed another crime but they are profiled by the system. Like you said it is a history of your PAST not of the current crime in question. Just because your old ass doesn't know anyone that has been unjustly convicted doesn't mean it doesn't happen. There is a man from Wallingford, CT who was released in 2009 after spending 20 years in jail for a murder he did not commit. No what's your theory on that smart ass??? Connecticut has a way of lying to get convictions and that is what they did to this gentleman and that is what they were doing to me. Just because there is a jury trial doesn't mean the jurors get it right or are you too old and stupid to realize that. As for your girlfriend being a paralegal, that's exactly what she is A PARALEGAL, not a lawyer so what she says wouldn't matter to me either. As for PD's wanting a good track record, do your own research and I'll bet you can't find one that has won more cases than he/she has lost. All PD's do is tell you to plead guilty. That's the only track record they care about. Getting a case over and moving on to the next victim. As I've said before the truth is going to come out and I want to hear what you have to say when it does.
