Good, should have been done years ago. Too many top heavy people in the administration and the schools.

I can't really tell if this is a good thing or not. The Okie legislature tends to be a bunch of ignorant hicks who could not possibly care less about education. Are the school board the same kind of people? It's tempting to think so since our schools are such poor quality.

Not sure this is a good. The school board was trying to make sure the appointees were qualified to be in the positions and block the Cronyism.
Like the Cronyism that is in the insurance commission appointing people that are not qualified.
Appointees in Oklahoma are based on Cronyism (the buddy system) and not the qualifications.
Cronyism is alive and well in Oklahoma politics.

You mean like the 5 out of 6 of the board members that were appointed by Henry.

I mean a board that is qualified and experienced in education should be in place. I do not care who appointed them as long as the members are looking out for the best interests of education.
Anyone appointed should be qualified and have experience in the position they are appointed in.
Obviously the insurance commission needs some thing like a board instead of the Cronyism it now has.
