The ones that leagely carry conceld hand guns are not the ones to be worried about. Who knows they may save the life of someone being robbed and gun point by a criminal.

Women and short people (PlantLady) should not be allowed to open carry. It's just too dangerous.

Weapons are best left hidden, why give the perp the knowledge you are carrying.

I would like to see open carry pass. Not so that I can carry open but for those occassions when a weapon is accidentally exposed. This would offer legal protection. I carry in a Crossbreed IWB holster with a cover shirt or vest. If I bend over or reach up for something, or when I'm riding my motorcycle it's possible that the butt of the weapon could catch and stick out without my knowledge. Open carry would give me legal protection from arrest and the possible loss of my permit if that were to happen.

And also, the patriotic gun owners who want to protest (open carry) on behalf of our gun rights need legal protection. Big people should open carry to promote gun rights.

Open carry should never be outlawed. Stores or businesses could require conceal carry ...
