I have two thoughts concerning this. First of all, A&E knew what they were getting when they hired Phil Robertson. Their outrage is disingenuous. Secondly, I think that members of the LGBT community who are upset with Mr. Robertson's opinions are being crybabies and are unrealistic in expecting everyone to affirm their chosen lifestyle. If you stand for anything, some people are going to hold it against you. That includes being a Democrat or a Republican, being a Baptist or Catholic. No one's choices are uniformly affirmed by everyone. You have to be who you are and quit expecting everyone to approve of you. Phil Robertson, again, is pretty much an open book. He believes in a literal interpretation of the bible, so OBVIOUSLY he thinks the homosexual lifestyle is sinful - DUH! We are the United States of the Offended. I think those who are upset with Phil Robertson need to grow up and quit expecting to be universally loved. Second of all, they need to realize what hypocrites they and A&E are.

I would bet that Phil Robertson could care less than Jack "Palin" Squat what Bristol or Sarah think about him or his family. Why not have Sarah go hunting with some real game hunters, no editing and see how she fares. Maybe she would do like Corey and spray the doe urine on herself. Missy and Corey don't pretend to be big game hunters. I think they went hunting with Willie and Jase exactly once. On Duck Dynasty, the men hunt and fish. The women folk keep the home fires burning, cook and help raise the grandkids.

Further, you don't see any kids mistreating the pets. And you don't see any kids acting naughty like Tripp or Trigg. In Alaska, I guess kids raise themselves.

The duck man says plenty of stupid and ignorant things that even a less than grow up (ie a teenager) would agree that duckman's comments are ignorant and stupid.

He caters to the netherworld and should continue all the way to the bank.

Bristol should be so proud that when her son was only three, he knew a derogatory term for homosexuality. The moderator sensored the word he said and would not let me type it, but it begins with an F.

A thousand years from now it will still start with the letter "F".

Reports of exploits and other antics of reality TV people isn't news and shouldn't be treated as such. Whatever the Palins, Ducks, Kardashians, Octomom, and all the others have to say is unimportant and irrelevant in the lives of ordinary people. Reality TV is a mere diversion.

You obviously didn't see Tripp in Action. He was completely out of control in all ways. HItting, yelling, never complying, name calling. When they did the swap, Melissa RIvers was appalled because her son, Cooper, is very well behaved and I believe she is a single parent (divorced).
It was bad enough that the dad put in paperwork for a change of custody. It was not just an isolated incident. Wonder how he is doing now and how it will work out with a military stepdaddy who drinks.

So what? Perhaps the child has Tourette syndrome? We already know he has Down syndrome. Who cares if "stepdaddy" drinks? Millions of parents drink, Republican and Democrat alike. Pull the log from your own eye, moron. Melissa Rivers's child does not have any brain debilitating disease as Tripp has.

Tripp is Bristol Palin's son she had when she was 17, not the Down Syndrome child, Trig that her other had at age 44.

Dakota M admitted to drink excessively to the tune of 1 1/2 bottles of Crown Royal and I don't mean the airport size. He also tried to commit suicide, only saved because there wasn't one in the chamber.

I didn't even look to see if you're with the clueless posters who think all blood donations should be tested but don't realize that testing is already in place. Guess what? There's military people who are excluded from donating blood along with people who have had hepatitis and probably some other exclusions. Are there really that many actively gay men who are upset about blood donation discrimination? What about people with cancer? Can they donate? Diabetics?

Day Tripper doesn't have a developmental disability that I'm aware of, only the results of a very permissive upbringing by a single mom. It's called spoiled brat.
