Amazing how quickly some americans will surrender the rights of others. Does the fourth and fifth amendments ring a bell?

I have to be drug tested for my job . My tax money goes to these people . If these people have money for drugs , do they really need welfare? Why not give them GOVERNMENT WEED instead of government cheese? Maybe when the police confiscate drugs they could distribute the drugs at the welfare office .

Entering into employment means one is entering into an agreement to be drug tested, people who receive TANF do not. This is clearly "piling on" an scapegoating persons who are NOT by definition of NEED, Criminals. If someone is found guilty of drug possession, or use, in a HUD housing unit, they are evicted and lose rights. However, THERE is NO Mandatory DRUG SCREENING>>>>IN this case, there is not an agreement to be drug screened by the recipients. I am really sick of some mean "tax payers" (one wonders if indeed they actually pay taxes, does that give them special insight into the character of others?) Gee whiz, last time I checked, drug addiction was a disease, a treatable disease. OH, why aren't all the rabble rousers asking for testing for alcohol levels??? too close to home??

It's a poll taken in Virginia. Are the results a surprise?
