Justice Dept opposes a 2nd voter ID law, in Texas

Full story: Cybercast News Service

A photo ID requirement for voters in Texas could disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of registered Hispanics, the Justice Department declared Monday in its latest move against Republican-led voting changes in many states that have drawn protests from minorities, poor people and students.

Why is the Justice department so adamantly against any state that tries to insure only registered citizens vote in elections?

That argument that the minorities and poor can't get out an get valid ID won't fly either since the can darned sure get out an protest.

Wow, now you progressive liberals aren't even trying to debate or discuss any issue that doesn't shine a good light on your idol Obama or his peeps, you just jump right to personal attack and name calling. Yeah, that will fly with voters in Nov.
Agree with us or we'll call you names...great strategic sense going on there! Of course why should the election season be any different from the entire rest of President's term, which I guess has pretty much been one long election season anyway, hasn't it?!!!

That's quite a stretch there Kat. What he basically said was horseshit. Personal attack ? All of this drummed up voter fraud is, indeed, horseshit.

Because there is a fee to get the paperwork for the proper id. That is a poll tax. The odds of someone committing voter fraud are less than getting hit by lightning. Republicans shouldn't worry too much it's not like Obama would win Texas anyway no need to suppress the vote.

Poll tax, my ass.

Is there a fee to get a driver's license?

Do you need a driver's license to cash your welfare check?

Do you need a driver's license or other state issued ID to write a check at Wal-Mart?

What's the odds someone will commit driver's license fraud in the state of Texas?

Oh...... wait. That happens every freaking day of the week with your illegals, doesn't it?

Geesus, you liberals are so freaking stupid I often wonder how it is that you manage to survive outside your parent's homes.

Oh no! As Many As 600,000 Illegal Aliens May Be Registered To Vote In Texas

No sir/ma'am... They are offering proper ID FREE of charge.

Progressives are manufacturing the discrimination against minorities and/or lower income citizens.

I don't want those voter IDs. It will hamper my ballot box stuffing. I need a good 20 to 30 illegal ballots counted from each box I stuff to make it all come out right-my right. I used to have to round up the homeless and dead folks to get the job done, but both of those voter groups can get pretty ripe smelling at times, and it would take weeks to get the smell out of my panel van.

Now I just use all of these liberal/socialist registration, "get out the vote", campaigns. I have to spend a lot of time in front of grocery stores, but my vechicle only smells like gym socks now. Hell, I can get as many as 15 cards a day thanks to the Democratic Party and it's voter registartion drives. That leaves me more time to recruit non-voters to use my cards to cheat on election day. Ain't life grand?

Just take into consideration who is trying to shoot down voter IDs.
This morning, it was reported that David Axelrod, Obama's main lapdog puppet, made the statement that Obama polled more votes in the Ohio Democratic primary than both Romney and Santorum put together in the Republican primary.

Here are the vote totals-you be the judge.

Obama-547,588 votes
Romney-456,205 votes
Santorum-445,697 votes

As you can see, Axelrod is a liar. The Republicans polled twice as many votes as the President, in the State of Ohio which is traditionally a Democrat leaning state, and a battleground state for electoral votes. If this is a national trend, and liar-liar, pants on fire Axelrod knows what's really going down, Obama is out in November.

The Roman Tacitus once said that you could tell when a republic was in serious political trouble-it would begin to pass too many laws and impose them on the public. You can tell when Obama is in trouble-Axlerod starts lying through his teeth too many times by twisting Obama failures around in an attempt to hold on too many times. Ain't going to work this time Axelmouth.

What do you expect from someone who also said Maher's calling someone a sl** and a cu** is ok because he's a comedian? Yea, he's a comedian alright.. a comedian with a huge political agenda!!
Axelrod is a sneaky scary thug who can lie without batting an eye... And the republicans better be ready for his thugery.

That was "actual facts" according to you and the report from 6 years ago. I think we're all aware of the increase in illegal immigrants in the last 6 years. Cost change, especially with the fact that the report you are using was before the economic troubles of 2008 and since. We have had an increase in immigrants, a large increase in unemployment, and a large increase in cost of everything which makes this report you are relying on obsolete!
