Judged: 2 2 2 liar. rule of thumb - check your facts before posting. Q: Has President Barack Obama signed 900 executive orders, some of which create martial law? A: No. Obama’s executive orders do not create martial law. And so far he has signed 139 executive orders — not 900. http://factcheck.org/2012/09/obamas-executive... |

Judged: 1 1 1 you have nothing occupying the space between your ears. "Obama has not issued 900 executive orders. He has signed slightly fewer orders than President George W. Bush during this point in his first term, according to the University of California, Santa Barbara, which tracks executive orders. Obama has issued 139 executive orders as of Sept. 25.(The U.C. website listed 138 orders on Sept. 25, the same day Obama signed order 139). Bush issued 160 executive orders through Sept. 20, 2004, a comparable amount of time" http://factcheck.org/2012/09/obamas-executive... |

Obama's signing the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) last New Years Night has even journalists up in arms.
Journalists rarely take a vocal stand against legislation in order to remain objective, but sometimes new laws are such an egregious assault on our basic rights to democracy and freedom that we have a duty to speak up. This is the case with the National Defense Authorization Act, a relatively new law that gives the U.S. military the power to detain anyone without trial indefinitely, further criminalizing dissent and investigative journalism in the United States. What does the NDAA do? The NDAA gives the federal government the power to behave like dictators and arrest any American citizen, or anyone for that matter, without warrant and indefinitely detain them in offshore prisons without charge and keep them there until “the end of hostilities.” Journalist Chris Hedges Sues Obama Admin over Indefinite Detention of U.S. Citizens Approved in NDAA http://www.democracynow.org/2012/1/17/journal... |

1. Prove that he's signed that many executive orders. 2. Indicate to us how an executive order constitutes "tyranny." |

Hmmm...FactCheck, or AmericanThinker? FactCheck, or American Thinker? ROTFLMAO Think I'll take FactCheck on THAT one, loon. American Thinker is a recognized Rightie propaganda sheet. NO one takes it seriously. |

Congress IS an annoyance, perhaps the biggest annoyance in American history. And the American people are suffering because of it. If Obama has to seek justice by executive order, so be it. |

Bought and Paid For: The Unholy Alliance Between Barack Obama and Wall Street Bought and Paid For: The Unholy Alliance Between Barack Obama and Wall Street Charles Gasparino Penguin 2010 "'When you strip away the name-calling and class warfare coming from the Obama administration, and when you ignore Wall Street's gripes about new legislation that will put a crimp on some of its profits, Wall Street and Washington are far more aligned than meets the casual eye. They coexist to help each other-in an unholy alliance against the American taxpayer.' For decades, most people have assumed that the corner offices on Wall Street are full of wealthy Republicans who lobby for low taxes and deregulation-while the Democrats, as defenders of the little guy, are the enemy of Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and their ilk. This stereotype has never been more popular than during the current ...." http://www.intellectualtakeout.org/library/bo... " |
Hard to argue with that! I often have to laugh at the Rightie claims that Obama is some sort of "Marxist," when in fact he's shown again and again that he's in bed with Wall St. just like most other modern Presidents. FDR was the only one that had the guts to take them on at ALL, but even he needed good relations with them at times. |
