Obama's signing 993 Executive Orders is not hope and democracy rather Tyranny.

Clinton in 8 years only signed 15 Executive Orders and all other Presidents before him less.

Tyranny is not hope.

Great post.

The emperor has no clothes. Obama's got to go.

Hope and tyranny are not strategies either...maybe they are for Obama but not for America.

Q: Has President Barack Obama signed 900 executive orders, some of which create martial law?

A: No. Obama’s executive orders do not create martial law. And so far he has signed 139 executive orders — not 900.

"Obama has not issued 900 executive orders. He has signed slightly fewer orders than President George W. Bush during this point in his first term, according to the University of California, Santa Barbara, which tracks executive orders. Obama has issued 139 executive orders as of Sept. 25.(The U.C. website listed 138 orders on Sept. 25, the same day Obama signed order 139). Bush issued 160 executive orders through Sept. 20, 2004, a comparable amount of time"

If...you think that voting for a former minister of the Church of the Latter Day Saints will give THIS country hope, then YOU are HOPE LESS...Since I saw and heard his comments about what he thinks 47% of Americans,I think he is a JERK...SURE!...some of those 47%, are folks that MISUSE our public services...BUT!. What about the folks who need these services(children ,medically indigent,to include those disabled and with mental disorders, homeless, elderly, and those folks who are ~ down on their luck~ due to the poor economy who need some extra help from time to time...Are they supposed to be SWEPT under the rug because some RICH Republican President thinks~ POOR PEOPLE SUCK~??!!!...NOT!...also..Do you think FOUR years is enough time for a nation to recover from this ECONOMIC DISASTER??!!...ESPECIALLY after giving King George eight years to run his TRAIN WREAK PRESIDENCY??!!...NOT!...WAKE UP and WISE UP ,AMERICA!!!!!

Obama's signing the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) last New Years Night has even journalists up in arms.

Journalists rarely take a vocal stand against legislation in order to remain objective, but sometimes new laws are such an egregious assault on our basic rights to democracy and freedom that we have a duty to speak up.

This is the case with the National Defense Authorization Act, a relatively new law that gives the U.S. military the power to detain anyone without trial indefinitely, further criminalizing dissent and investigative journalism in the United States.

What does the NDAA do?

The NDAA gives the federal government the power to behave like dictators and arrest any American citizen, or anyone for that matter, without warrant and indefinitely detain them in offshore prisons without charge and keep them there until “the end of hostilities.”

Having your foreign policy dictated to you by Wall St. and Netanyahu, as Romney would do, isn't a strategy either.

Fact is, he's an inexperienced ignoramus - and that's the LAST thing we need in a time of crisis.

Tyranny is not hope.
1. Prove that he's signed that many executive orders.

2. Indicate to us how an executive order constitutes "tyranny."

Congress IS an annoyance, perhaps the biggest annoyance in American history. And the American people are suffering because of it. If Obama has to seek justice by executive order, so be it.

Hard to argue with that!

I often have to laugh at the Rightie claims that Obama is some sort of "Marxist," when in fact he's shown again and again that he's in bed with Wall St. just like most other modern Presidents.

FDR was the only one that had the guts to take them on at ALL, but even he needed good relations with them at times.
