The children of Fluvanna is suffering here and it is not that new school was built but the school board and BOS don't know how to manage money. If you do your background recently the BOS just approved last month to give almost 20,000 to start a 12U football team because it was given false information. There are programs these children to play within there is TJYFL and Pop Warner in Fluvanna.

We are a county who needs to start looking out for all. Here we cannot support our schools but we cannot outside programs.

the fluvanna schools seem to be in a perpetual state of being short of taxpayer monies to spend....it is beyond time for the bos to tell the school board to start living within its means....

it is time that the people of Fluvanna realize they need to have their School budget voted on as a separate vote and not have it voted on so all monies are thrown in one pot.It should be the people of the county as a whole who should vote on the budget and not just a small "Its our way or the highway" group.

It utterly amazes me everytime I read about the shortfalls of the School Board Budget every three months. In the grown up real world you have to live within your budget and make do with what you have. Why not reduce the salaries of some of the staff, utilize the supplies and equipment that you have and stop spending money you DO NOT have.

I agree that the school system needs to start living within its budget and secondly, I agree that the county resisdents should be allowed to vote on the school budget for or against....JUST allow only property owning resisdents of the county vote on the school budget....since everytime the budget is short the BOS look to the property owners to make up the shortfall with an increase in property taxes........

It is time for the schools to finally start making some salary cuts. Taxpayers should not have to support these people.
