Now isn't that a real mandate-- 124 votes in a record low primary turnout. Can someone figure out the cost per vote of the Hershey campaign-- that is when he finally accounts for the cost of those slick negative newsletters he sent out in the final days of the campaign.

The final cost just might include the seats of Del. Smigiel and Sen. Pipkin. The bi-partisan disgust at the tactics of their "Fiscal Conservative Team" is driving all post-election comment. The mantra seems to be "Anyone but Smipkin".

If you live by the "sword" you will die by the "sword". In this case if you live by sleaze you will be taken out by sleaze...Coming to an election near you....

You all have to be Democrats try to stir it up before the election. Only Democrats would want fiscal conservative Republicans to lose an election. I liked Sossi but realize that losing to Democrats only brings us closer to Socialism.

Hershey is unopposed. Sossi was "approved" by Lord Pipkin for years. Why the sudden change? Now Pipkin has another puppet. What a "Team" lineup: Pipkin, Smigiel, Hershey, Patterson, Jay Jacobs. Let's see who supplied the campaign financing if and when the reports are filed.

My god you are a sore loser. Elections happen. The people voted and your man lost. Pipken didn't vote - the PEOPLE voted. It wasn't Sossi's seat - it was the people's seat. It takes a lot of moxey to run for office - Hershey should be credited, patted on the back, and thanked sincerely for giving the citizens a choice. In this case, a much better choice than a man who felt he deserved the seat. If an elected official is napping on the job it should be brought to light. It is indicitive of Sossi's total approcah to the position he served. We deserve better and we demanded better. We voted. It's over. Options: Stop taking cheap shots at Mr. Hershey or step from the shadows and make them in person. I doubt you will.

Apparently you have not met Lord Pipkin. He thinks he owns Cecil County. Did you follow his antics during the last session? Hershey's finance reports, if filed, should be revealing.

I don't get your fascination with Pipken. He didn't vote Hershey into office - the people did. If Hershey spent $1 million dollars he still is not in office without the majority of the people's vote. This is what is so great about our democratic system. To answer your question - I have met EJ on several occasions and find him to be fine representative of this District. He is well spoken, well presented, versed on every issue, and very sincere. Unlike Sossi. Apparently the majority of our peers agree. You throw out words like "Lord" and "Puppet". Cowardly and bitter is no way to go through life.

No apples, sorry B Zidek, just a lot of Hershey bars, since I will not eat or buy them anymore!
