Seems FACT's facts are contradictory. In the article they say, "...itís all 'the rotten fruit of the all-about-me individualist culture that comes when we deny the existence of God and his image in us.'Ö".

Guess these Holy Rollers have edited all the passages in the Bible that clearly state God created everything. That would include us gays and lesbians.

But when you have decided God hates all the same things you do, and have a list of groups that applies to, you've re-defined God to suit your image.

I can assure FACT that they are in a very large group of people who feel justified using God to persecute fellow human beings. It's now wonder they have come to be known on here as the Christian Talibagelicals.

Keeping hate groups like GSA out of schools would help.

People who lie to kids and tell them that suicide is the only way out of the hell of homosexuality are responsible for many teen deaths!

Hey sexually disorder, divorced hypocrite, the same federal law which permits gay/str8 alliances in public schools is the one that permits buybull study clubs in public schools.

So you can still bully gays as long as you can cite religious and/or political reasons for doing so?

Sounds like a distinction with little or no difference. They're just codifying the bigotry.

If I remember correctly, they also made gays wear pink triangles. I have no idea what they made the intellectually-challenged or the gypsies wear, if anything. There was no end to who they wanted to exterminate. And they probably considered themselves good Catholics or good Lutherans all the while.

Ironically, they're not unlike certain posters on this website.

Sounds like the ACLU needs to challenge these bills as unconstitutional.

You are right; gays are as 'normal' as child molesters since both groups are following their "born that way" desires! If gays have the right to 'marry' then adults have the right to marry their adult kids, parents, or siblings...after all, we don't want to "judge" them!

nope. WE are discussing adults with other adults.

YOU seem to be the one focused on getting past the underwear of little children.

That's the part all of you insist on ignoring. GLBT people are advocating legal relations with other adults, not with children, pets or your favorite cookie jar.

saw this yesterday. Think you will like it. It speaks loudly of what I find so disappointing in so many " true Christians".

In fact I know there are large segments of this same lesson found in the Gospels. It happened to be one of Jesus's favorite topics.

Heck even Saul (Paul) echoes it in Titus 3! But so many think they are so much more "righteous in God's eyes" because they can quote words (yet ignore the lessons behind them)

Do not just memorize sayings, recite words, and discuss Zen and the way based on books. The Zen way is not in books. Even if you can recite the teachings of the whole canon and all the masters and philosophers, they are just useless words of no avail when you are facing death.

No, we are discussing "born that way" desires! Who decides how old a person is to be "consenting"? Some states say 21, some 18, and some 16 or younger! Craving kids and craving other males are BOTH sick and examples of mental illness.
What about an adult (25 yr old) marrying his/her parent?

Your post itself is a good example of "mental illness". I've always noticed it's folks like you and not gays and lesbians who want to discuss sex with children, animals and parents.

As for consent laws, yes they vary from state to state which is why certain GLBT groups have advocated a national standard. And I'm not talking NAMBLA here either.

i've noticed this as well. the more numbers such as chapter adn verse that somepeople can recite, the holier they believe that they are.

quoting chapter and verse is nothing more than a cheap parlour trick... prestidigitation, even. it means absolutely nothing if one doesn't know what the words written there mean and can't apply them to their own lives before someone else's.
